JBathropson
Similar to Smithing in ESO, I think it would make more sense for the world of Skyrim to have different modelled swords and armour depending on the race of a character, as not every race smiths exactly the same. This could be purely cosmetic, or could possibly benefit the wielder / wearer in some way. For example, a Redguards Iron Armour would not look the same as an Argonians Iron Armour, and this applies to the other races. It makes more sense in my mind, but I don't know if anyone else has thought the same.
SolidWolfMods
It's good idea, immersion at its best.
NinjaWarriorPoet
Some of that is happening in the Beyond Skyrim project.
Skagens
This is a pretty cool idea but would take a lot of work since it would mean changing all the models and textures into new ones for each race, and for each armor.
