Getting some crashes only on loading screens

Hi guys.

 

I recently started a new game of New Vegas as I haven't played any of the dlc's yet and I have addded some mods that I have enjoyed in the past and so far gameplay has been very smooth and I have been surprised at how well it has run. However, I have been getting intermittent crashes which are starting to slightly annoy me. It only ever happens when moving to a new area either through a door or via fast travel. IT will either ctd or just freeze.

 

I can go anything from 1 minute to 2 hours without a crash, I have played for quite a while without any but sometimes it will happen very frequently.

 

I am running 64bit W7 and my gpu os a 69502gb, cpu is a phenom x4.

 

 

Here is my load order, I would appreciate it if someone could look it over, though I think it seems ok to me.

Did you try disabling autosaves and manually saving instead?

 

It has been reported quite often, that autosaving is causing crashes.

Yeah, autosaving is off and I am using CASM. It is very hit and miss, sometimes I can't go through a door without a crash, sometimes it happens after hours of play

You can also try disabling performance increasing mods, check with an earlier save or if one of your mods is causing the crashes.

But note that crashes when moving from interior to exterior cells, or the other way round, are not uncommon, and have been reported many times.

Well I haven't had a crash for what seems like ages now, probably 8 hours of game time. It probably is just one of those things inherent with the game, I did rejig the load order slightly though. The game runs very smoothly now!
