cecil101
Ok, I just finished making my first mod. yay!!! Its a redo of the imperial medium armor (studded). Now for those who dont know this, this peticular armor is not craftable or improvable. I want to know how to go about making it craftable/ improvable so i can incorporate it in my mod. cant find anything so far so im reaching out to the community. So, I guess im looking for a tutorial, a list of required tools, or a good starting point .... lol
cecil101
Ok, I figured out how to make it craftable. but the improvable is still being a problem... anythoughts? I used TESsnip to do the craftable portion an just kinda changed a few things to try improving but it didnt work... because i want a non improvable armor improvable, do i need to make up the values for the improvement? Tivoko
I don't know about TESsnip but I know how to do it with SkyEdit. Basically you need to make a second crafting recipe, assign it to either the workbench or grinding stone, assign an item cost for the upgrade, and choose your basic item that you want it to upgrade. The rest of the values I just copied from existing recipes and it worked fine.
cecil101
I got it to work, there is a really great and comprehensive guide for this kinda thing. found at A site we've had to banlist because they continue to spam mod authors with advertising links.... link is banned so google it lol Edited January 26, 2012 by cecil101
