Ok i signed it . I hadn't notice the option to change the language on top lol.

I stood there on the page for a little while after signing it and noticed that new names were coming up by the second from at least 4-5 countries and the petition will soon reach 1 000 000 signatures .

let's just hope it helps make a difference.

The petition is now at 1 312 210 Names .

If you haven't signed it yet please do. ACTA is the Internet Eater just like Alduin was the World Eater lol. Let's all bring our shouts together and defeat that Dragon lol.

Ok i admit i was a little cheesy on that one but still , go sign the petition guys, it takes only a few seconds .

The link is on Keast Kannegaard's post , only two posts above this one .

I don't know how long it's gonna remain there but if it's still there, it means we still have a chance to make a difference with it .

You wouldn't want your ISP to record everything you do and then use that information against you now would you ??

They would even record everything you send to friends on MSN, thats just wrong .

If you don't beleive me you can watch the videos in the first page of this thread . Even if you're not into politics, you should have a look at it . I hate politics and i usualy don't give a F*** but this will affect everyone of us so i do give a F***.

I'm sure some of you already did sign it , kudos to you, but since this thread has been left behind, i thought i'd revive it one last time hoping that new people would see it .

it seems my country secretly signed ACTA 5 days ago in Tokio

when asked, the prime-minister declared that he doesn't know how ACTA will affect the internet users or how the treaty was negotiated

It also seems that European Comission negotiated this agreement without ANY public discussions being held in any of the co-signing countries ( UE, USA, Australia, Canada, Japan, Morocco, New Zeeland, Singapore and South-Korea )

Good news are that the UE Parliament won't ratify the treaty until summer ( aprox), then each co-signing government must ratify it in national legislation.

I have decided after years of also going against all of this to instead support it all until it becomes so insane and ludicrous that people will do more than sign online petitions.

I support ACTA and everything else that totally destroys the freedom of the internet.

Hopefully they will get he feds more involved to stop all the terrorists who think sharing things freely is a good thing for the economy.

Sharing is evil

i live in the real world...
