Since Bethesda's Forums are apparently kill... Does anyone know what this is? it know longer shows a description or picture, but its in my load order so it must have been a mod I liked. maybe it updated and was deleted or something? Idk but I need to know so I can update or keep it. Thanks in advance!

Any help would be appreciated!

The mods I uncover will be listed below...

  • 3vnvnv.esp (Night Vision Blur Remover by 3ventic)

I have no clue myself but, I'm assuming you guys are console players right? This is one of the things I hate most about the way Bethesda manages mods. The file name doesn't even have to relate to the Upload name and when the file is removed from the site the file in the in game manager reverts back to it's file name instead of the upload name.

This can happen for a few reasons.

  1. The author removed the file for some reason.
  2. Beth removed the mod because of the following reasons, Stolen mod, the Mod Broke Copyright, Inappropriate content,
  3. The mod was Spam reported and caught by the auto moderation system "In which case it may return"

The files will still work in your game so my may be able to sort out what they were by playing but I have no clue and with names like 3vnvnv.esp or sdh.esp I would guess Beth removed them for one of the reasons in reason #2. As for the wastelandsurvuval.esp I would suspect it has to do with survival mode just because the file name looks more like something a real person would use.

I'm a PC player. I'm not sure whether these are mods I installed from Bethesda.net, the nexus, or elsewhere... I really can't remember anything with these crappy filenames! XD thanks for your help, chucksteel

if I find out, I'll be back

Itsbooby, mighty zog is right, check them out in FO4Edit. Even if you can't figure out who created them you may be able to tell what the heck they do.

I hadn't noticed how old the OP was and when I read it it sounded like they only had the in game manage so I assumed you both were console players. Sorry for my assumption and if your at all familiar with the creation kit you could also try to open them with it but, I think FO4edit is still the best option.

when you open FO4Edit you will have a file selection option open. in that click the right mouse button then choose the deselect all option.

next select the files you want to look at and click on [ok] at the bottom of the panel.

go and make yourself a cup of tea or coffee, you've probably got time while it loads in the files ;)

then you have a windows style menu system that you can browse through to look for clues as to what those mods are.
