crowlotus Posted February 28, 2017 Share Posted February 28, 2017 I hope this question doesn't get me banned but I have googled for days without an answer. Whenever I cast a Light Spell or enchant an amulet with light, I get a strange pink aura around me. I have unchecked my mods, gone through them one at a time but nothing helps. I would hate to uninstall my game because it would take a week to get it working again. Plus, most of my mods are no longer around on the Internet. :sad: Can someone please help me figure out what is causing this? I am at my wit's end with this annoying bug! Jannifer Posted February 28, 2017 Share Posted February 28, 2017 I believe that's a missing texture. If you have Oblivion through Steam, you can try verifying your game cache to see if that sorts things out. If you have the disk, you should be able to find the vanilla texture files by poking around on it. If you do wind up having to reinstall, just make sure that the archived mods you downloaded are someplace safe on your hard drive. That way, you can reinstall them as needed. Good luck!
