There is an upcoming mod called WARS. The Weapon Addition and Replacement Suite

Basically it takes some real firearms with lots of customization options, custom animations and great looking models and adds them into Fallout 4.

 

However, the plans for the mod also makes those weapons replace a number of existing ingame firearms. Also it is planned that the WARS mod will introduce major changes into Fallout 4's gunplay mechanics in general.

 

The mod author however intends to make all the content from the mod available as a mod resource.

 

Sadly I know nothing about how to mod, so I'm asking for your help. I am requesting that someone create a 'Lite' version of the mod. Take the lovely guns with their custom assets and make a mod that adds them into the game, balanced with both the vanilla weapons already there and thus in general the mod weapons added in by other modders.

 

For customization type stuff I'd be happy with something along the lines of the AKM Project, where most of the different parts are cosmetic and the only things that really affect the baseline stats are the mag size, going for a large/medium/small barrel and various scopes.

 

IE you could have a bunch of different AR-15 weapons with basically the same stats to equip your army of guards and provisioners and companions without them being wildly different statwise, all the assault rifles doing around 80 damage per shot at max level, for instance.

 

Is anyone interested in making a mod like this?
