If You're Thinking of Buying a PC or Components via Catalogue Store in Britain

Recommended Posts

Not everyone has loadsa money, and here in Britain you may be thinking of buying a new PC or a graphics card or something from a catalogue store like L..Woods. It's great because you don't need the full amount, you can pay over 12 months or sometimes even longer. So far so good.

Listen to this though. Here in Britain L..Woods has a "sister" site, V.ry. They sell the same stuff. Exactly the same stuff. From the same warehouse. For a lot of things, prices are similar or the same.

But not for PC equipment.

Go to the L..Woods site, look in electricals/computer-accessories/pc-components/graphics-cards.

There you'll see an Asus Turbo Nvidia GTX1060 6GB card.

Look at the price.

Go to the V.ry site and look at the same thing.

Look at the price.

L...Woods: £350 V.ry: £270

£80 difference. EIGHTY POUNDS!!! FOR THE EXACT SAME THING!

So...I know, I know, £270 is still slighlty higher than you can get it elsewhere, but that means paying for it outright. Or your Daddy paying for it.

Do your home work before buying is what I'm saying.

(Prices correct at time of going to press.)
