  1. Hi When doing one of my infrequent postings, I sometimes want to use an emoticon, but can never remember what to type, and I had a list of emoticons used on the Nexus bookmarked(https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?app=forums&module=extras&section=legends&do=emoticons), but that's gone now. Is it actually gone, or just moved, and if gone, can a new one be done? Thanks.
  2. I'm getting the same issue trying to access Fallout 4 or New Vegas Nexus sites. This is happening in Chrome, Firefox and Edge. However, I CAN get in on other Nexus sites e.g. Skyrim, and from there can go to the Fallout sites without a problem.
  3. Yes. I managed to get one up by Ctrl-F5ing earlier, but now it won't even start the upload.
  4. Thanks! I had a problem with blood decals turning into triangulated messes with some clothing mods. I used the textures from Don't Lose Your Head and also the meshes from the optional smoky effects from No Blood. Now I have cool smoky blast, but also working blood textures.
  5. Don't know about enb, but Reshade could be having HDR issues. Check your systems display settings and see if Windows HDR is turned on - turn it off. If that doesn't do it, check the games settings for HDR and turn it off.
  6. The main image on some imageshares like Fallout 4, Control, Skyrim SE are broken atm, description pasting still works, but main images are blank.
  7. Hello I recently decided to exchange donation points to paypal, but realised too late that the paypal is set to my old email. I can't find any setting for changing it, so how do I go about doing so? Also, if it's already been processed, have I now lost that amount? Thanks
  8. Search engines, hey? Back in 2019, and again last year, I searched on getting my FO4 textures files to work in BA2 format, gave up trying. Not once back then did this post get found, then, today, here it is. Used chucksteels method, worked first time. Kudos to him.
  9. My notifications aren't working properly. First off, when I get one and click on it, I get a red warning flashing, too quick to read, but something about a 'connection error' Then it will take me to the page. But.. The message might disappear. Or be replaced by another. This morning I had 2 notifications. I clicked the first one, it took me there, but the second one disappeared. I did a manual search for the second ones author, went to the image, commented on it, then got a new notification to say that that author had posted the image. I clicked on the new notification, was taken back to the same image, then was informed that I had 4 new notifications. 2 were new, the other 2 were the same ones I got this morning. Crazy!
  10. Hey there I've noticed some search oddities, for example if you go to the Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order page and search "saber" you get 12 results in the drop down menu, but if you click on the magnifying glass to bring them up, you only get 5. Plus I may be wrong but typing half the word used to work, but now doesn't? E.G typing driv instead of driving or drive on Cyberpunk page used to bring up mods with both, but now brings up no results. And another thing. If I check my mods in my profile, on newer mods the number of endorsements doesn't match to what's shown on the actual mod page, usually being lower than it actually is.
  11. OK, so yesterday when I visited the site, I had been logged out, I presume by you. I logged in, uploaded an adult image, and the image was available to see immediately. Today though, I visited the site, and was already logged in as usual. I again uploaded an adult image, but again the image is not visible. I've tried CTRL F5, just F5, and clicking the refresh button on my browser. No joy. I left the Nexus, then went back, and this time the image was visible. Maybe I'll try logging out everytime I leave. Edit: Nope. Logged out for over an hour, logged back in, my image still missing. Turned off adult content, turned it back on, my latest image is visible again.
  12. Hello there. I seem to have a problem with adult content on the normal imageshare, doesn't matter which game. If, like today, I upload an image, set it to Adult, then go viewing latest images, my image doesn't appear, even waiting for an hour or two it doesn't show up. I have to go into my site settings, toggle adult content to off, then toggle it back on again before my image is visible. Not a difficult thing to do I grant you, but annoying just the same. Here's an example. In this image my shot is missing: In this image though, after toggling AC off and back on again, my image appears, which I've handily circled for you. Very aggravating.
  13. Seems that since around 7am no main images are showing across the sites, linked images are still there?
  14. I stopped by the Nexus offices and snapped this of the team hard at work fixing the problem
  15. Did you do it here on the forums, or on a Nexus page? It has to be done from a Nexus page, so go to https://www.nexusmods.com/ageofwonders3 then click on the profile picture on the top right of the screen and a drop down menu will appear. Site preferences will be at the bottom. Click that, then look at the tabs, second one will be Content Blocking. Click that and there will be adult preference.
  16. Well, while you're on fixing it, you might as well take the time to update the imageshare as a whole, adding image specific search, increased file size to 35mb, larger thumbnails and teenie weenie yellow polka dot bikini's for all. Oh, and buttonise the categories along the top row instead. Maybe add a 'Stories' section for people who like to do a series of narratives. Did you know the imageshare was originally just supposed to be for mod authors to advertise their latest mods? Everything was better back in those days. I had hair, the sun was always shining with a lovely rose-tinted glow..
  17. OK. Not doing anything different, just posting a link like I've done many times for my other mods in the imageshare. I start by copying the mod link from the browser, in this case https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/44786 Then I do the link [ url=https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/44786 ] Rocks[ /url ] , without the spaces between the parenthesis obviously. Annnnd that's it. Every time I do it in a new image, the link goes to a blank page with strings across the top like :><@OIYGJ$%^&* If I edit the image and redo the link, it points to https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/images/44786 There's some sort of cross-link as both mod and image have the same number, i.e. 44786 The only difference I've noticed is that way back all the mods on the Nexus had no ? at the end, then they changed and all had a ? at the end, now they're all back to not having one. Hope this helps.
  18. It happened again in a new image - https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/images/177136? Same as before, first the link directs to a string of gobbledy gook. Then, after editing and posting the link again it takes people to image 176295 Had to type a link manually
  19. Thanks it's working now, but https ://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/images/176295/%EF%BB%BF is exactly what I was saying. The link came up as that the second time by itself, even though the link I posted was correct. The first time I posted the link it just came up as gibberish full of %EF%BB%BF type stuff across 3 lines of text.
  20. Hello there. Today I released a mod for Fallout 4, then put up an image to tell people(https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/images/176295). In the image I included a link to the mod, https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/44786. At first the link gave a gibberish link, forgot to capture it, then I redid it and now it points to an image from 2016 titled Into the Dark sea by l00ping, with this weird header - https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/images/%EF%BB%BFhttps://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/44786 So I'm guessing somethings not right, probably a you've got a small cough and a bit of a fever.. Cheers if you could look into it.
  21. Just a heads up that when you click the 'help with using key' when getting a key from the Store for Monster Hunter world, it directs you to GOG, but it's a Steam game key.
  22. Turning off gpu acceleration in Vortex settings did it for me too. Sadly I then missed the weird artwork, so I turned it back on
  23. Wikipedia: "Amazon Prime Video will stream the episodes within 24 hours of their U.S. release in over 200 other countries and territories around the world" There will be 10 episodes. If you don't have Amazon Prime, wait till the last episode is out, subscribe to the free month, take a day off, watch all 10, cancel free month. Engage.
  24. Hello there. Since 1.0, Vortex has started to let Reshade load in Fallout 4 intermittently. If Reshade isn't loaded, exiting the game, then closing Vortex and re-opening it, then loading the game fixes it. The problem isn't persistent either. Sometimes it won't load if I've added a mod, sometimes it will. It does seem to happen more if Vortex is open but not used for a while, e.g. browsing the Nexus for 10 minutes, then try loading FO4 results in no Reshade. It's not a Reshade problem. Been using ver 4.3.0 since end of May without issue. Only started when updated to Vortex 1.0. I've just got a brand new PC, so have only got around to installing Fallout 4 and New Vegas. Haven't noticed the issue with New Vegas, but also haven't used it as much. On a side note, I'm not a fan of the Vortex icon. It reminds me of an upside down poo emoji. I tried changing it myself, but then Vortex crashes on startup due to it using the icon internally to display on the taskbar, which I obviously can't change.
  25. Those maps are for doing different things, e.g. Alpha mapping is for transparency, specular is mostly reflections, normal maps are for lighting bumps and dents, diffuse mapping is to define an objects main colour and must have no directional lighting on it. You really need to know what you're doing before tackling these types of textures. However, if you're just, say, trying to save an ordinary texture like the look of a certain weapon or outfit for e.g., then you need only save it as whatever type of tetxure the game will read, like DXT1 or 2,3,4 or 5. Most common things use DXT5 for stuff like clothing and DXT1 for skin textures. If you haven't already, I suggest downloading and installing the Intel texture works plugin for Photoshop. It uses newer techniques than Nvidia's one and the textures saved will be read by most games including Fallout 4.
