Updating bashed patch and overwrite folder's contents

I'm new to modding and I have a doubt about Wyre Bash and the MO overwrite folder: the first time I used WB to create a bashed patch I found in my overwrite folder an .esp file plus other files in a sub-folder, then I right-clicked and created a new mod out of it; the second time I only found the sub-folder, but no .esp file. How should I proceed to update my bashed patch?

Drag and drop the files into the new mod you made the first time. Or you can delete them as they are just the text/html files telling you what was done to the bashed patch. MO already replaced the ESP file in the folder you made the first time when the bashed patch was created. You can confirm this by looking at the creation date of the bashed patch plugin.
