Custom Vendors

I have an NPC set up to sell the items I want and I set up a vendor container with the items I want them to sell. Now what do I do with the container? Place it in the same cell as the NPC right beside it?

I usually place it under the floor or in the VendorChestsCell so it's not in the way. But you can place it anywhere you want.

Ah, if I place it in the vendorr chestscell, how do I get it set as belonging to my NPC so only she can sell it?

First double-click the vendor (before that you need to put the chest in the VendorChestsCell) and a small window will pop up. In that window select Merchant Container tab, under Cell select VendorChestsCell and under Reference select your chest (I always put Werne before the rest of the Ref. ID so It's easier to find it) and that's it. Edited January 26, 2012 by Werne
