Kandor
OK. I have been in a heated debate with my fellow comrades on who is in the right between the Stormcloaks and the Empire. I for one am for the Stormcloaks, who are you for? give an educated reason. (it has been two weeks of debating between each other so the more reasons the better)
JanusForbeare
Empire. Realism > Idealism. The Empire is humanity's best chance for resisting the Aldmeri Dominion, and that's infinitely more important than the question of Talos worship or Nord independence. pastafrola
The empire united has better chances against the Thalmor and, in the future, restore the Talos worshiping.
Sheralynn
The Empire has forsaken it's first duty to the people. To protect their rights. Therefor it is no longer legitimate government and needs to go.
Tom2681
Stormcloak all the way.Anybody who tells me I can't worship Talos deserves to meet the wrong end of my blade. Better to die free than to live as a slave.
Capomafioso
the empire needs to stay united if it wants any chance of defeating the aldmeri dominion. the banning of talos worship would obviously be revoked when the thalmor are disposed of. people forget that the empire lost the war it didnt really have a choice in the talos worship part of the concordat. terzho
The Nords have a right to rule their own land by their own people. The Empire is not as it once was and can no longer defend their provinces. The Stormcloaks however can defend themselves and Skyrim has a better chance by itself then getting their resources taken by the empire. Also use the search button this topic has pretty much been beat to death.
Dukkah
Oh boy. Another one of these? Neither and both. Neither because, as has been proven in threads before, it's not possible to prove one side is better than the other, but easy to show that whether one or the other is in power, the people are still licking the boots of their Jarl. Both because I've done both stories on different characters. Not even like they bothered altering the story or campaign style depending on who you choose.
LegoManIAm94
I have played both questlines and before I played them I thought I would have perfered the Imperials but once I played them I like the stormcloaks better. My reasons are that when you doing the Battle For Whiterun quest it is funner to take the city over than it is to defend it. And the empire is weak and the Nords just want freedom but they are harsh on the Elves. I know at the end of the Stormcloaks questline General Tullius says the Thalmor wanted this war to happen so the empire and skyrim can be weakened from the fighting and they can just come in and out-number them. I think either way the Thalmor will take over Skyrim after 4E 201.
JesterKing
The storm cloaks say they are fighting for Talos, but they seem to forget that Talos founded the very empire they oppose! They need to remember that the Thalmor are the enemies and The Empire needs every strong capable Nord for the next inevitable war.
