masternoxx Posted March 4, 2017 Share Posted March 4, 2017 I am aware there is a mod for this and I have it and it is good stuff. Well I am replaying Oblivion 8 years later and I am starting to do the same thing that I did when I played it before. That is, cast invisibility on myself repeatedly and just run through oblivion gate maps to the end. My request is that someone with the know how change the invisibility DURATION on spells to like 1/4 amount of time or something that makes the game more challenging. The point of this is, so that the player does not have enough magika to cast invisibility over and over every time it runs out. Of course invisibility also is an effect from potions I would prefer if the potion duration was not changed, since you will run out of potions eventually and this way you can play with the invis for longer periods since it is kind of fun sometimes. With chameleon I would like the stat max capped so that there is a good chance you will get seen at least in a 10ft radius near the monster, and I'm not sure what value this is. I'm guessing around 70%. I will experiment with this in game and see about what that is and reply back. The thing about the current mod is that it may conflict with any other mod since it modifies both chameleon and invisibility, and possibly it has to be done that way. For instance in Elder scrolls online invisibility is only available as a potion effect I believe. Possibly only having it available as a potion effect would be an easy mod to make. But it's also important to have the chameleon cap, as I see 100% chameleon, and being able to cast invisibility over and over as soon as it runs out, as total exploits and kind of ruin the game imo. masternoxx Posted March 4, 2017 Author Share Posted March 4, 2017 Okay so I made the mod and removed it from all spell merchants but Bourissian (at the mages guild praxographical center), still carries the master lvl chameleon spell, even though I have checked and it is gone in the construction set.
