ninja_lord666
Seeing as how I play Obivion with about 60 mods, and Morrowind with about 10, and I still like Morrowind better, I'm going to have to go with Morrowind.
doomjockey
Well since I absolutely must use mods to enjoy Oblivion these days, I'll pick Morrowind. Morrowind's core game is just plain better. Oblivion only looks better... at the cost of a few freedoms. TES4's comparatively lackluster gameplay can't hold a candle to the epic of TES3. Povuholo
The only thing that I like more about Oblivion than Morrowind are the physics (for dead bodies only, the floating items are annoying), the graphics, and the quest section of the Construction Set. So that's not much. Go Morrowind! :)
wizardmirth
Everything I've seen so far points to most people preferring Morrowind to Oblivion overall. Oblivion looks better and in some instances plays better too, but Morrowind is just a much more diverse and satisfying game. I really hope Bethsoft takes some kind of cue and tries to use all the best traits of Morrowind in some way for TES V.
Malchik
Morrowind - by a mile. But it was MW that drew me into the TES experience.
IndorilTheGreat
Definitely Morrowind. It has a much better plot, and is A LOT moe immersive than Oblivion... Don't get me wrong though, Oblivion is still a great game. :D
GreenSaint
I think they are both great games with perks and losses, morrowind you could turn people into vampires, oblivion you can't (at lest that what what I herd).Oblivion you can go to the shivering isles, morrowind you can't, in oblivion you can go to morrowind with mods, morrowind you can't. morrowind has a better quest line, oblivion dosent, I mean really though, it's a prisioner, lets bring him along as we take theEMPORER out of the god damn city cause he's being attacked by assasins! They both have great aspects and bad ideas, we just need bethesda to combine the ups and make a great game!
Povuholo
morrowind you could turn people into vampires, oblivion you can't (at lest that what what I herd). With mods, yes, otherwise no. Oblivion's vampire system is a little illogical to me... Drinking blood makes you weaker? :PStill, being able to drink blood in the first place was nice, and it was a little annoying in Morrowind that as a vampire you were unable to talk to anyone besides some people from the mages guild as a vampire without being attacked. Very annoying considering that Morrowind doesn't have a fast travel system that doesn't depend on npc's.The good thing of Morrowind's vampires is that there are 3 vampire clans with quests. And there are werewolves! Oblivion you can go to the shivering isles, morrowind you can't, in oblivion you can go to morrowind with mods, morrowind you can't.True, but the Oblivion version of Morrowind doesn't have any quests AFAIK, and its discussion is forbidden on the official forums (We're talking about Morroblivion right?). Morrowind's Tamriel Rebuilt on the other hand... :)They both have great aspects and bad ideas, we just need bethesda to combine the ups and make a great game!I hope they will. :)

Then, npcs wouldn't know you're a vampire. That's also something that's not in Oblivion...
Lord Slyther
Comparing Morrowind's graphics, and Oblivion's graphics..... Morrowind's textures on the NPCs are not all that great, but runs stable. Oblivion's graphics are the most awesome so far in the Elder Scrolls series, but the quality lags more, for it's a little too much for my comp to handle. I haven't yet got a dual processor. It provides pretty cool features such as sitting on chairs, and riding horses, thank god finally. But requires a better processor. Now for the features and activities for both Morrowind and Oblivion........ Morrowind's armor system is a complete custom set. You can switch pauldrons, gauntlets, and whatever. Oblivion's cuirasses are full sets. The pauldrons are already attached, and the gauntlets are a two set. I wish it was like Morrowind however. It sucks that Oblivion's armor set is not custom as Morrowind is. Now for mods. Modding for Morrowind for me is pretty complicated. I don't know how to make valid armors, and yet still have to learn. But I pretty much consume Morrowind's modding system is hard. Oblivion was like pretty easy for me to mod. At least the full skeleton was included in Oblivion. The Morrowind skeleton is seperate for all meshes. The body parts were also wasting time for me to make for Morrowind. Oblivion's body parts were pretty easy. Overall Morrowind : 8.0Oblivion : 8.1 Too bad the poll doesn't allow me to vote for both, but I choose both! Oblivion is pretty much my vote, but they're both cool games!
