I think some real world medieval armor would be cool. I mean there is bunch of mods in TES4 that covers such armor, like the steel sallet favored by the knights of HRE and the French.

I think any of these would be an awesome addition to skyrim. or any other real world armor pieces used back then.

it will come rest assured, not that i am making it but with all the mods already out in so short a time its just a question of time untill you get your mod, in the meantime i suggest you make some medieval weapons to match your set :) http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=1002 this one adds some medieval weapons that are really really really good lookin

Would love to see some decent knight armor for skyrim. All of them are either crappy retextures of the plate armor from the witcher, or the vanilla steel plate with a stupid tunic added.

 

Something thats is of a good enough quality that it doesnt look out of place when someone has the high res texturepack and graphics at full, rather than the dull trashcan metal that the existing plate armors are now.

 

Also, i love the frogmouth helm in that pic. I know that they werent acually used in battle, but they just look so damn cool.

We have countless armors ported directly from the Witcher or mashup of these armors.

That game has some nice historical accurate armors.

This is a modder's resource that adds a lot of very classic medieval clothing/armors. I think they look great.

For a gritty and lived-in Medieval armor, try the Witcher 2 Style Dawnguard and Standard Heavy Plate mod by Baraban.

 

Ported from an Oblivion mod into Skyrim, see the Knights of the Nine mod by Maty743, as well as Matys Medieval Knights.

Similar to the above, check out Hedge Knight Armor by hothtrooper44 (who also does a slew of other armors of all types in his Immersive Armors mod.

There is also a Witcher 2 Helmet pack and a Witcher 2 Shield pack, with more Medievally goodness. For Medieval swords, I’d recommend Elvarheim’s The Azincourt mod. The Lost LongSwords mod by MrBrownstone looks interesting, and has some stock Medieval looking long swords bundled along with the “lore-friendly” fantasy variants. I have also seen historical Medieval weaponry in other weapons pack mods.
