  1. This may not be exactly what you are looking for, but I use Amazing Follower Tweaks (AFT) in SSE. I assume AFT works the same in Oldrim as it does in SSE. AFT has a dialogue option to tell a follower to wait in the current location, so your character can leave them. There is an AFT Command ability, used like a shout or calling Convenient Horses, to "Summon" all active followers to your character. A follower can also be "dismissed but hang out here" where you left them, but they will not respond to the Summon command.
  2. Do you mean more like the spas in the Elysium Estate mod, but in the Lakeview Manor's cellar? I find Lakeview Manor's cellar rather useless, since the smithing setup that goes down there can also be set up outside. It might was well be a pool in the cellar.
  3. I am not sure what you are looking for, but Vaultman30's Armor Extended SSE replaces the fantasy vanilla barbarian Foresworn armor sets with more historical Iron Age Celtic gear, for a practical look. The mod includes iron helmets and even plaid hoods. As a warning, this mod also replaces much of the game's vanilla armors and clothing for more historical Early ("Dark") Ages-to-High Middle Ages sets - it will give your character and NPC's a whole new style.
  4. Apis & anjenthedog, The pic is from a LARP armor and clothing supplier Armstreet and is not from a game. The site says the armor is blackened spring steel. To complete the set, yes, it should have chainmail where the cloth gambeson is visible. I think the site wanted to focus on the steel armor set they were selling for LARP purposes, and was not concerned with complete realistic protection that such as steel set would actually have, but it is a nice inspirational set for the steel pieces.
  5. Have you seen the mods like LC-Become King of Riverhelm SSE, originally created for Oldrim by Locaster, then ported to SSE? I think Locaster has a series of mods that sound like what you are looking for, though I have not played them yet.
  6. I use Amazing Follower Tweaks (AFT). It includes a dialogue option to manage a follower's gear, so you can freely swipe their "default" armor or outfit and give them whatever armor or outfit or other items you want. If you use AFT, I think the vanilla follower AI is still intact, so if they prefer light armor, they will still wear equip light armor if they are supplied with both heavy and light armor in their inventory.
  7. I have not seen a mod that lets a player wear a robe over the armor, but... Cleric Armours of the Nine Devines - Credo StandAloneMod SSE has armor sets with included robes/surcoats over the top as part of the armor. The robes are themed for clerics of each of the Divines, except the more generic "Crusader" set for the Knights of the Nine/Red Diamond. Speaking of surcoats, not robes, Vaultman30's Armor Extended includes a variety of surcoats that go over the armor and are sold by blacksmiths. New surcoats are also worn by orders such as the Vigilants of Stendarr and Dawnguard. The Dawnguard armor replacer is an additional optional file. Note that this mod is a sizeable armor replacer and will replace most vanilla armors and clothing with more realistic European "Dark Ages" to early Middle Ages sets. It looks like Crusaders Knights - Medieval Armors SE also has armor sets with surcoats over the top, but I have not used that mod.
  8. I see one called Populated Skyrim Prisons Cells Legendary Edition listed as an SSE mod. I have not used it, though.
  9. I have been looking for a functional, semi-historical Gothic/Italianesque steel plate armor mod for females. I've seen many Skyrim female armor mods, but the practical-looking ones tend to not be stylish, and the stylish sets don't look practical. I use the Practical Female Armor SE mod, which replaces vanilla armors for females with more practical (male)-looking armors, but I am looking for a more unique female armor set. For an example, I looked at the LARP/cosplay outfitter Armstreet and came across their beautiful "The Dark Star Collection" set. The armor set appears to combines protection, functionality, and style. The Armstreet site has several pics, and their FB page even has a few videos. I am not advocating copying the set (which may be copyrighted), but it could be used as inspiration for a similar style of armor set. I am no modder, beyond creating a few simple follower NPCs, but if someone with armor set modding experience could take this up, I am sure there would be many who would appreciate it. Thank you.
  10. I did not see Elysium Estate SSE by the jadeshadow mentioned. It is one of my favorite mid-sized player homes and it appears to have most of what you are asking for. I also like the central map location near Whiterun stables. The mini-quest to obtain the home can be accomplished in a few seconds. It is a bit gamey that such a nice home can be obtained for 0 Septums, but there is a mod that makes the player purchase the property, if you need to feel better about that. Good luck on your house hunting!
  11. I recently found a mod called Paper World Map Addons by Duncanlarsen1 (for classic Skyrim), which requires the original Paper Maps mod (has an SE port). It sounded promising, but that Addons mod does not appear to work in SE. There are many posts asking for the Addons mod to be ported to SE, but it looks like that has not happened yet.
  12. There is a mod called Anyone as a Follower, which is a set of console command batch files. You would need to decide which NPC to target and when to run the file. Once you run the file, you might not like your new follower's stats, but those can be tweaked with console commands.
  13. Have you looked on the Facebook page for Rigmor of Cyrodil? That's where the latest update news appears to be. The author is currently working on wrapping up the epilogue to Rigmor of Cyrodill.
  14. I like the idea, but I am not a modder. There is a Rutger Hauer follower already @ https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/98701 Now someone would need to whip up Lady Isabeau (Michelle Pfeiffer) and create a quest with the two NPCs.
  15. In the original, pre-SE Skyrim, there is a mod called "Anyone as follower or spouse plus divorce option" by Hirodina at https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/4139/? . It has a set of downloadable text format batch files that perform a series of console commands to change any NPC to a follower. You run the bat files in a console command (instructions in the mod description). I think the console commands are mostly the same between original Skyrim and SE, so they may work in SE. I have used this mod successfully in original Skyrim to turn Sylja of Shore's Stone into a follower, but have not tried this in SE. Some things to watch out for when making an NPC a follower: 1. NPCs are at a set level do not auto-level with the player. As-is, they may be relatively weak for higher level players. Fortunately, their level, stats, and even perks can be adjusted with console commands. A list of console commands is available at the Skyrim Wiki at http://en.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Console 2. NPCs turned into followers might not respond to the player with all the dialogue options you would expect from a normal follower. Using a follower framework mod like Amazing Follower Teaks (AFT) may help give them more dialogue options when your character speaks to them. I think the NPC's voice type may determine which dialogue options are available. 3. Depending on AI settings in the NPC's file, which can be modified in the Creation Kit, they might not hang around at your player's home, since they were created to remain at a particular location . AFT has a dialogue option "Dismiss, but hang out here" that might work to keep them in your home (or other location). Their AI settings may also determine their daily schedule, such as when they eat, sleep, or travel to a particular location and hang out - those can be modified using the Creation Kit. If you dismiss them, they may return to their original location (or not), depending on their settings. If she is well-behaved, as-is, you may not need to modify her AI settings with the Creation Kit. 4. I am not sure if a NPC bard turned into a follower would sing songs in your player's home as if she were still at the Winking Skeever, but it would be worth a try. I hope your player is not a Stormcloak sympathizer, because Lisette's Imperial propaganda songs may get on your nerves... Good luck!
  16. It always makes me dislike the Imperials when they want to chop my player's head off for coming to Skyrim, in a land where bandits, trolls, and now, dragons, run free...
  17. I like this idea! Most castles and forts in Skyrim and no longer defensible, since they are broken-down and in desperate need of repair, as if they have recently been besieged. Many do not even have working gates, and have a few easily destroyed barriers, instead. It would be great to see the many of vanilla fortifications improved to be worthy of being defended.
  18. The multiple follower framework mod Amazing Follower Tweaks (AFT) has a dialoge option where your player can tell a follower to make camp, and they create a camp with 2 tents, bedrolls, and a campfire. It works best on fairly level clearing without rocks, trees, or other obstacles. I haven't tried it in a town. Very handy in the wilderness or when traveling. You can ask them to take down the camp when you are done with it.
  19. Google is your friend. In a few seconds, I found Ice Sword of Eddard Stark here on Nexus.
  20. It sounds like you may want Diverse Guards Skyrim mod. I have not used it, but it has over 6,000 endorsements.
  21. Follower framework mods such as Ultimate Follower Overhaul (UFO) or Amazing Follower Tweaks (AFT) allow multiple followers, but won't change the vanilla marriage mechanics. Using dialogue options, your player can ask followers to "relax" (UFO) or "dismiss" and hang out where they are (AFT) and they will "sandbox" around the player's home or other location. You can also control followers' inventory and outfits with these mods. Dress them in whatever clothing mod you want, such as UNP Slave Leia Clothing, and just like that, you have a virtual harem (but without meal preparation).
  22. Follower framework mods such as Ultimate Follower Overhaul (UFO) and Amazing Follower Tweaks (AFT) allow trading with followers to take and give items. These mods do not change the vanilla AI that controls how followers decide what to wear, but does allow you to control which items are in their inventory. They also allow multiple followers, which is a plus.
  23. Gal Gadot as a Ningheim Race preset: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/85707/?
  24. I have used Bind and Gag by Daniel at http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/14697/? It incapacitates the target for a while, allowing your character to get out the area and avoid them. It's very satisfying to use on trolls who call your character a "milk drinker".
