Skyrim Crashes Constantly

I installed the beta skyrim patch (v 1.4.20.0.4) without much hope for betterment. Interestingly I didn't experience any CTDs for the past 2 hours (with my latest save, 300 odd hours into the game). So there is still hope that this does the trick.... at least for now and for my rig. I've read posts from other users who are now having CTDs with the beta patch. I still hope this gets better for everyone...

On the down-side, I'm having now frequent jitters (although overall performance is amazing compared to 1.3.x). The kind of annoyance, where the game freezes for a split second, then progresses normally. I did not have this issue with v 1.3! I used to have the same issue in Oblivion, F3 and FNV. But that's another story I'm going to investigate and no longer part of this thread.

Same thing for me, no more CTD since I installed the patch but I'm experiencing those freezes every 10-15 seconds when my character is moving. This game is definitely broken...

EDIT: I downgraded to 1.3 and loaded a 1.4 save, still no CTD and I got rid of the freezes !

I got rid of the freezes as well :) and am still on 1.4. So far it runs flawless.... All I had to do was enforcing 'Threaded Optimization' through NVIDIA control panel as posted here

You're lucky, this doesn't change anything for me...
