  1. Hello everyone, I started to follow the main story a bit and for every major event (Locating Shawns kidnapper, Gang of thugs while rescuing NV etc) I dont get to interact with them before they decide to try and kill me. No dialogue options what so ever, I tried reloading the game to the point before the event is supposed to start but with the same results. I am using mods but I haven't seen anyone else complain about the same problems that I am seeing. If anyone can help me I would definitely appreciate it. Mods I am using http://i.imgur.com/oGa5WF9.png?1
  2. Hello, I was wondering if someone could create a main character file/save with my appearance? I am really bad (always have been) with character creators and creating a character with my likeness. this is for FO4 btw

  4. thank you very much ^_^
  5. Hello everyone I was wondering from Morrowind to Skyrim how many books are there to find? If at all possible how many in each title? Also are all the books from Morrowind and Oblivion able to be found in Skyrim? Thank you for your time and responses
  6. Hello Everyone, Well I recently returned to playing Skyrim but every 10-20 minutes it crashes to desktop with no warning or alerts. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times, deleted the folders and files in Documents and have not added any mods other than performance boosters, I was wondering if there is a way to find out what the crash is being caused by and how I could remedy this. Yes I have also tried running the game without the performance mods but I still get the same problem. I have even tried running it under low/medium settings when my pc recommends high. anyone with any sort of information or help I would really appreciate it. Here are my Specs and a DXDiag report Specs Windows 7 32 bit OS 4 gigs of ram (only 3.5 usable) GPU Geforce GTS 450 AMD Athlon 7750 Dual Core 2.70 GHz DXDiag Report Please anyone with some sort of fix for the crashes notify me I will greatly appreciate it.
  7. Hello Everyone, Everytime I use my slow time shout or block an incoming power attack (perk time goes slow mo when I block them) the slow motion time stays on and does not go away unless I save and reload. Anyone know why? And no I don't have a mod to do this lol and it definitely is not what the game is meant to do because I sat there for 5 minutes and it still was in slow motion. Any ideas? Thanks
  8. I genuinely love the game, in fact Skyrim is what has been eating up most of my free time. Of course the game isn't perfect, no game is...I think the majority of the problems are people get too hyped up over a game before they play it. Bethesda has done in what my opinion is a fantastic job by giving us a new Elder Scrolls title on the same generation pc/console and has clearly beat my expectations. Most people also don't take into account the amount of content and quality that Bethesda has put into the game with the (yet again) limitations of current generation systems. Yes you can point out "Blank" game did it why cant they, but you are still missing the fact that Bethesda is making a game that is geared towards freedom and exploration and not strictly stealth, combat, etc.... All I am blabbering on about is that I think that Skyrim in itself is a excellent game that lived up to what Bethesda had promised (Unlike the Oblivion demonstration....Real Dynamic Soft Shadows my arse) Anyway.... Also take in consideration since Morrowind and Oblivion were on different generation systems they brought that "Wow" factor because of the graphical and gameplay capabilities the previous generation couldn't support. Lets face it Bethesda is getting better with its titles with time, many of the issues that Oblivion suffered from were fixed in this title such examples from mind is the Crime System (Not every Guard will chase your from Whiterun to Oblivion itself) MANY more voice actors (You can actually stand talking to people now O.o ) Harvesting things now show visual confirmations (No more walking up to that flower you forgot you picked already an hour ago only to be disappointed) and many many other improvements. Now I am going to be quite honest here when I say I myself and many others I know could not play Oblivion unmodded (hence why I am a pc gamer lol) but when I played Skyrim I could actually enjoy the game in its entirety without the hassle of modding due to some odd game mechanic they put in or left out. When I told my relatives to buy Skyrim the first thing they said was "I dunno, Oblivion wasn't all that great" When I finally convinced them they were not disappointed. All things aside I love this title, as I am sure many of you do. Give Bethesda some time to get the bugs under control (for those of you who cannot tolerate them) and enjoy the damn game.
  9. Hello Everyone, Now that Bethesda has finally made most npc's not level with you (I hated fighting a bandit with better armor than I had at level 30 lol) This while awesome, also sort of gets me confused on how I should progress through the game. Are there certain areas (towns, coordinates etc) where enemies get tougher or is it more random than that? Is there a guide where it recommends what level you should be before progressing into the quest line? Ill just give an example. I just need an idea on how to progress through the game without getting pwned every time I turn around :P Thanks everyone
  10. Why does everyone seem to hate the new elven look? I find it to be darker and more unique. Lets face it Medieval Fantasy has had a lot of beautification and bright look made to them for the local populous. I actually do not like this approach because in the past elves (as an example but not the only one) pretty much look like humans but with pointy ears...and lets face it prettier lol In this game its going for a darker approach. So why not have the elven races look a lot different than their human counterparts? I remember quite a few times in oblivion I wasn't sure whether I was about to attack a person or elf. (When I first started playing lol that was before I noticed that all the body meshes were the same for each race) This of course is just my opinion. I honestly love the race change to looks.
  11. Hello Everyone, Thanks for taking the time to review my problem. Well where to begin...I have had many random crashes throughout the time I have been playing skyrim and I have already applied the sound quality fix, used the dxd9 (or w.e its called) patch since I have a mid grade pc, When it wouldnt start at all I used the Archive Invalidation thing through steam (which let me get back into the game but I still have crashes) I thought it was due to the mods I was using but I removed all of them and am still having the crashes. I believe I have tried the newer 4gb patch as well. I just don't know what to do from here. I really wish to play Skyrim without crashing every hour or so. If anyone has any information, tips, mods etc please help me out. PC Specs OS: Windows 7 32 bit Processor: AMD Athlon 7750 Dual-Core 2.70 GHz RAM: 4 Gigs but 3.5 Usable GPU Geforce GTS 450 DXDiag Report I also want to ask a few more questions but they are not as immediate as the issues above. I was wondering with my specs how should I fine tune skyrims settings to get the best stability and look? Does Steam automatically install updates for Skyrim or am I supposed to? And finally (that I can think of ) Is there a way to improve the audio. It just doesn't sound right now me. Thank you everyone who responds or looks for an answer to my problems. This is a great community that I am proud to be a part of since Oblivion. Hopefully when these issues get fixed I will be able to join you all in the Dragon Slaying! lol
  12. I would first like to state that there have been many and I mean MANY complaints about Oblivions leveling system. Not only were you restricted but you had to make sure to level the correct stats to survive the onslaught of the freakin bandits who leveled with you and wore ebony armor. I agree that there is a bit too much dumbing down of the system but I sure as hell wouldn't choose oblivions style over this one. As mentioned above this sounds more about elitism than anything else. With the new perk system your character doesn't get stronger unless he levels the skills through the perks (tested and true) So instead of grinding everything to make the all god character now you are limited to the level cap amount of perks which really makes you choose what you want to play as instead of a All Powerful Elitist. I been playing RPG's since the 1990's and I can say I agree on a few of your points but overall this game has blown oblivion away. Now I will tell you a little known fact...MOST people say Oblivion is no good without mods. Why? because the mechanics in the game are so screwed that it is game breaking. But by all means if your so annoyed with skyrim Go back to the other titles or wait for mods to be released to "Fix" what you find to be a problem. I will agree though Morrowind was and still is EPIC! lol ^_^ Good Luck
  13. I agree, I mean if your not going to play the game and enjoy it how its meant to be played then you may as well use console commands.
  14. I would first suggest looking at the available mods for lowering the different textures size and resolution, Also There is a D3D9 mod on the site that optimizes the direct x settings (I went from a recommended Medium setting to a High using this) other than that I will be of little help.
