When i first got oblivion in 2006 iw as thrilled i played morrowind before, but wasn't my style^^

Anyhow when morroblivion mod came i was almost just as thrilled, sorry for me i was to late to download it and never got to try it,

before i found out it was banned Bethesda had my deepset respect with all the suport you could get and the cheap addons you could by, + the mod's people made contenued to make the game interesting to this date, then when somone actuly creates THE MOD bethesda ban it. WHY? how could it be necesarry, if Bethesda ever would create a full tamriel from morrowwind to hammerfell everyone would buy it nomatter what mods created, are they intimidated? or just plain stupid, sorry i'm just crossed course of the ban but would somone try to explain to me why somone would do sothing that cruel.

Morroblivion is not a mod, it's a converter. It converts files of the other game to Oblivion. Bethesda since the beginning was against such practices. It doesn't matter whether Morrowind is their game or not. Not to mention any legal issues that are behind this - if you want to recreate all Morrowind by yourself, that is fine, but if you use any way to convert and use files from Morrowind in any other game, that's against the EULA and such.

Like Trollf said, its not a mod, its a converter, a tool if you will. This tool gets stuff from morrowind and makes it possible to use in oblivion, that is illegal and bethosoft said that they do not allow this way before the Morroblivion was relzed. Therefore Bethosoft could've taken the creator of morroblivion to court, but were kind enough not too, so even though many people are mad at them, they were actually really kind about it.

To answer the Question in the Title: Yes, we do. There is not much we can do other then that.

A Note here: Buddah, i dont know if its exactly prudent to let People know how to get the morroblivion Stuff.

Sure, Someone how is dumb enough to not have thougt of this alternative is probably to dumb to make any use of the Material there.

Nevertheless, with a wacky judical System like that of the U.S., Bethesda could sue you.

You may want to edit your Post. And while your at it, delete my Post here too. Well, everything but the first Line would be Pointless anyway :D

Surprises me that they didn't try to buy it and sell it for an insanely high price that only a select few would want to pay. Oh well, I might have paid, being the TES junkie that I am.

Why would Bethesda buy something they already own? All mods are property of Bethesda.

shame really that morroblivion was banned but then again bethsoft have a good point it is there material and kudo's to the guy who made it but Bs were kind enough not to sue him so i think bethsoft need sum cred there aswell. but other than that people arnt forgetting morroblivion but t.e.s has been going for years. who knows what bethsoft think there might be a new one in the works maybe thats why it was banned

just be grateful they made oblivion
