Frazzle07
Hi, I recently purchased Fallout 3 GOTY edition (disk, no Steam or GFLW) and started to mod my game. I had got this all working and had been playing fine with the mods for a couple of days but I tried playing Fallout 3 through the "Launch FOSE" button on Fallout Mod Manager today, which usually works, but Fallout 3 wont start. A little black box appears and then disappears again with nothing happening after that. Also clicking the "fallout.exe" in the Fallout 3 root folder does nothing either. I'm not really sure what's changed and I suspect that its something stupid and simple but I was wondering if anyone had any ideas to what was wrong as I have been trying for hours to fix this. If any other information is required just ask and I apologize in advance if this has been posted in the wrong place. Thanks, Jake
Insukio
Yes! I am having this EXACT same problem too and I need help!
M48A5
There is no such thing as a legitimate Fallout 3 with no GFWL (Games for Windows Live). It states on the box and the disc that it is Games for Windows Live. If you have a copy that does not have Games for Windows Live on the box or disc, it is a pirated copy. As such, you will get no help here.
Insukio
I just want to play one of my favorite games with mods. This isn't the first time I've dine this but this is my first time encountering this problem too.
crashinghell
alright look bro...what you have is an illegal copy my suggestion to you is go out and get fallout 3 at your local gamestore instead of online or any other untrustworthy sources because they will sneak you an illegal copy occasionally without you knowing ...come back when you have a legit copy of fallout 3 until then no one in these forums can help you Edited July 10, 2013 by crashinghell
