BlueGunk
Installing Modkit 3.1. The PDF manual says "run set up and follow the instructions." Yeah, right. Thanks a bunch. Please: can anyone just tell me the exact folder location to choose for Modkit in the setup process? Modkit has a folder structure similar to W3 but I can't for the life of me understand exactly where to point the installer but I am assuming it is a Witcher directory rather than sticking in Program Files (shudders). It seems to be the one thing that modders know, but it is not written down anywhere! And I don't want to pills-up my game by installing it in the wrong place. :geek: BTW - my game is not on C or in Program Files, before anyone asks... Thank you! BlueGunk
Sorry folks. After about 25 coffees I finally got my head around this and I am OK now. Question can be ignored.
LordUhtred
I'm also having trouble with this, though I can't figure it out and it is too late for 25 cups of coffee. I need it for Mod Merger. I found this thread, and instead of making a new one asking the same question, I thought I would just post said question in here. Which is the same as OP. Also my game is not on C drive. DaVincix
If your question is rather if the Modkit or Mod Merger programs must be installed into the W3 directory, then the answer is: No. But an installation into the same drive might make sense. I have them in new created folder calling Tools, and this folder is sitting on the Desktop. Decisive for a proper application of these tools are the correct settings within the tools, just after the installation.
