Come on people don't bash Skyrim too hard! It has very good points. In the end of the day when I think of my experience with Skyrim I won't remember Esbern's voice glitch, or the boring and short guild quests. I will remember, searching the world for dragon words, clearing ancient nord ruins and solving the puzzles, which were a good addition to the game. Hunting for dragon priests and their masks. Or looking for mines to smith things and dress my mannequins with full sets of armors. Fighting dragons although at 40+ they became too easy for my taste. Collecting the claws and finding the treasure hunt locations (the treasure maps you'll find). Those things are things I'll remember in 5 years or so when the next TES game comes out.

That's what I did with Oblivion and that's what I'll do with Skyrim.

The rest of you, have a good time bashing Skyrim on some random forum like the one we are in.

Don't get me wrong, I love Skyrim...it's just....mostly bland

I love dungeon crawling as much as the next dude, but after the hundredth Drauger Ruin's, I am done. They even turned the Thieves guild into a Dungeon crawler!

Dungeon's are not even that great. Hack through some enemies, trap, trap trap, more enemies, simple puzzle I have seen a hundred time's before. OMAWGAWD EPIC BAWS MONSTAW! **Kill's in one punch due to godly upgrade's on armour** OMAWGAWD ANOTHER END OF DUNGEON TREASAW CHEST!

...generic magic item's....thanks Bethesda

Not wanting to bash it either. Just didn't like getting busted out like my opinion doesn't count. I'll say that I give it 10/10 - modded. Still can only give it 6/10 - release. I wouldn't even be able to finish the game without mods/fixes.

I never claimed to be a scientist. In fact, I work in the television industry, so biasing opinions is what I do for a living. ;D That being said, if you think that the rhetoric will make such a significant difference, you're welcome to make your own "Rate Skyrim" poll and see how it comes out. I'd be just as interested in the results as you would.

Sorry, didn't mean that as criticism toward you; could be taken as a compliment just like you turned it into. My hat to you, sir.

As for doing a poll, I can't think of a method that would make me happy. I would need some sort of poll numbers for what attracts people to this forum (to mod and improve a game that sucks to them or to give a game they already love more longevity?) and what about all the people who aren't into adding mods? I'd have too many questions about my own poll. Shoot, it could even be influence by this one. So, yeah, no.

Hmm tbh I'm glad I got this game for the pc so I can at least enhance it with other mods and such but really I find their other game (new vegas) a bit better role playing wise .. I'd be more satisfied with skyrim if the actually got their asses in gear and released CK and just fixed their damn bugs ! Also if they combined new vegas, skyrim and fable 3 together (skyrim with a better story, new vegas with the gambling, addictions, and faction wars, and fable 3 with being able to hold a job (in a kitchen or as a blacksmith etc. ))
