Zora Fair-Child is murdering me!

Requiem is my main mod. Will not play without it. Ogerboss (requiem main guy) stated that the bash patch is not needed due to requiem's own merge patch at the end.

1. Falskaar is a land mass mod not related to the main game. Don't know how this would effect some of the followers to go hostile.

2. Requiem daedric weapons are functional. I'm using it right now with Vemina's staff along with necromancer amulet. They function correctly and I'm not dying.

3. I check out other people/modders load orders & skyui is normally placed at the near top of their order. Will check its' placement to make sure where it's supposed to be.

All of these issues still do not address my particular problem, that is a follower doing killmoves on my character. And I do have another follower, Aurlyn, tagging along as my first follower. She doesn't attack me randomly at all so.

I'll check our your guide and see the difference.

ok if Requiem is making a patch then that patch should be the last file in your load order, anything loading below it would interefere with the patch doing it's job - excluding any mods that HAVE to be loaded below it like ASIS or an ENB

As for Vermina's staff, if I am not mistaken that's a Quest item, quest items MAY be excluded

the bow I pointed out in that pic i linked was one I had found from a bandit chief and I did not have any mods installed that would have added any bandits or chiefs and the pic I linked shows that Requiem cursed the bow

Skyui is a mod management program, if you have mods loading below it then it can't do it's job properly

Certain mods HAVE to be loaded in a particular order to function correctly - ESM's before ESP's, follower mods at bottom of load order so they are not interferred with, ASIS or ENB's after everything else. Everything has it's place, making sure those mods / files are in the correct place will ensure the least amount of problems and give you a problem free game to play

Didn't you say you have Requiem on your game?. You should know that Req for the indifferent IS the merged patch for requiem. I'm not sure you should be telling people requiem is breaking their game when you may or may not know for a fact.

What picture?

As for skyui, you're the first one I read that it should be placed at the bottom. Pretty much everyone else put it on the top of the list, including myself. Never had any problem so far.

As far as the load order is concern, I DO know it has to be in a particular order to function correctly. Otherwise, I would be in a deep s--t for having well over 200 mods.

Once again, several examples you brought it up do not address my main issue. Furthermore, as I stated that 2 profiles with exact same mod list/mod order are showing one odd outcome time to time. Not game breaking but annoying nevertheless. Fyi, one with higher leveled character (32 level Orc) is NOT having this 'getting murdered' problem. It's 18 level Spellsword who is getting killed.

I used requiem briefly till i hit that snag where it had cursed my bow, i then stopped using it and that was well over a year ago. I have used SKYre (Skyrim Redone) since.

load order - You would be amazed at how many people i help who think they can drop 100-200 mods into their data folder and think they are fine lol These are also usually the people who have never used Wrye Bash or TesEdit, or even LOOT sometimes

SKYui - Think about it, SKYui is a mod management program, it's purpose is to manage mods that require it, so technically you would want those mods loaded before SKYui - at least to me that's how it makes sense to me. You may very well be right about it not being needed / required at the bottom, but as I said, it makes more sense to me to place it there

my point to bringing up all these examples is this - you have a VERY unusual glitch / bug where an NPC is constantly killing you. Simplifying your load order can help you track down what the problem mod is, in the long run

I can suggest this, try using a bashed patch from Wrye Bash and see if that corrects the problem you're having, if it does then the patch file from Requiem is missing what ever the bashed patch fixed - just remember that the bashed patch HAS to load last with a few exceptions which I stated in my guide. For you, it would be prudent to follow any directions for Requiem from the mod page as I just stated I am not familiar with it anymore

Ultimately, please remember I am only trying to help - Two heads are better than one theory

there MAY be a quick and easy way to fix Zora if you're willing to try a console command

1) open the console and click on her - you should see her ID number on screen at this point

2) type this <resetai> with out the brackets and hit enter

let me know if that works, if not we can try the faction commands

I'm well aware of Wrye bash (not using), Tesedit5 (been using) or Loot (no longer using). Requiem tells you not to bash patch since req skyprocter patcher does the job.

Since I never has any issue with skyui placement so I'm staying put for the moment.

Mods I have now is the trimmed version so...

Will try console solution and let you know if that reset the problem.

Thanks for your input.

Edit

So I tried resetai and it didn't work.

I know that NPCs have their own aggression level. I wonder if Zora or Farkas is set high thus doing killmoves on me. I somehow accumulated 4 septum bounty at Windhelm and haven't paid the fine yet. Perhaps that's triggering the attack?

As for the bounty, Zora - maybe but not Farkas, he has no alliance at all with windhelm, if it had been whiterun then I would say yes

Below are the faction commands copied and pasted directly from the wiki

Click on Zora first to have the game display her ID number then try the commands below and use this where it says <FactionID> - Player Ally faction - 5A1A4

Addfac <FactionID> <#> Adds the selected NPC to a faction. May cause undesired and buggy AI behavior, 1-4 affects faction rank

AddToFaction <FactionID> <#> Alternate version of AddFac, adds the selected NPC to a faction. May cause undesired and buggy AI behavior, 1-4 affects faction rank

so the first option would be: (1-4 means start with 1 and keep going til you find one that works or you get to 4)

Addfac 5A1A4 1-4

and the 2nd option would be:

addtofaction 5A1A4 1-4

after this, if either option doesn't work, then I'm out of ideas

Good luck I know something like this sucks and I hope you can get it fixed

is it possible that when you leveled from level 18 to 19 that you did it during combat? My thinking is that maybe you hit her during combat and when you leveled it did something to either your characters faction / reputation, or hers

Only thing I can think of is that there was some kind of glitch either during combat or when you leveled

ran into someone else who had the same issue you have

Mangarian - Today at 10:43 AM

I think my follower hit her, then my followers were fight each other and she went off on me

not sure if that helps, but at this point anything might prove to be useful
