Give your player a voice

I'm not sure if this topic is still open but I would like to find a mod that gives your player a voice for the conversations instead of him/her standing there like a stuffed mullet. I appreciate that some people like the silence as it enhances their role playing but I'm pretty sure that many would agree with me. If I was any good at programming I would try to create the mod myself but alas I lack the patience :)

With this particular issue, the roadblock isn't programming so much as voice acting. Having the Dovahkiin speak would entail recording thousands of lines. Even disregarding race selection and having only one option each for male/female, that's double the work. It a gigantic task.

When I was playing the old "party" oriented RPG, Baldur's Gate I made my own little vocals one weekend for the game. Was basically some generic one liners, death screams etc. Idle voice #1: "I'd much rather be quaffing a bottle of Ale" LOL!

 

In this game, to me, it doesn't make sense. I would get real tired of hearing the same lines over and over. Kinda like the NPC vocals get old... Maybe some grunts and growls for attack sounds, I don't think that'd be possible?
