  1. Hey yall, i like THIS video quite a bit, i think the dude's motif and look would be great for a player skin (so to speak) that the player could make himself look like this, including similar face peircings/tattoos (optional?). The guy whom alot of you know about has two looks in this video. Pic 1 Pic 2 Pic 3 I'd be remiss if i didn't give a shoutout to Iggy Pop for this awesome song! I'm not suggesting copying anything. Just think this would be a cool looking player skin and or even a follower. Thanks c0AX
  2. I guess I should have followed up to this post. I was able to finish the quest correctly, by using tcl to get through a door or two, and also the setstage console commands, and then the dialog with the Robotist went off without a hitch.. All doors opened that were supposed to, etc. So, to the above posters, that's a affirmative. ;) To anyone else: DDG to find the stage #'s for the quest..
  3. Surprised noone mention that old lady Trudy at the Drumlin Diner. Every time I walk in the place i first got to hear about how she'd glad Wolfgang is rotting in hell! Ugh. That really does get old...
  4. I know you've all, most of you have heard, about the bug in "The Mechanist" quest. The MAIN quest of the dlc Automatron. Which I recently bought, Fallout 4 and all dlc's for $59.99. Why! Why is there still a bug, a well known bug in this dlc? It has kept me from playing the damn game for 2 days so far, thinking of what to do. I've heard All the supposed fixes. I had beat all the robots, and the Mechanist was just walking around doing not much. I tlc'd underneath the floor, oh wow there's a stuck robot! I thought i had it aced, well, after that, Mechanist said some stuff to me, and then he attacked again.. A small wave of robots, and grenades and lightning bolts.. And he's now stuck there! doing that constantly... No more hidden robots, i tried my best tlc'ing all around.. Nothing i can seem to do. I feel i got 4 options. tlc'ing thru to the elevator, riding it up, leaving the building, and just dealing with the quest hanging on my pipboy. I could replay the whole thing, not wanting to do that... But I might, god that was a Fight! I could reload a midfight save i got.. :\ Or I could reload a save at the door to the lair and repeat the fight... I already had Ada upgraded btw.. :\ And once i got in there i may have shot at the ceiling at the bots up there... I also threw grenades at the beginning of the fight. lol.. dam i did all the wrong things... Man this is maddening.. What a shame, a major game making company, that is really good in their game ideas etc, can fail so bad on execution. And worse, not fix the damn thing after 5 years. I still love ya Bethesda. BUT.............. sigh... c0AX599
  5. I find DogMeat quite useful when it's time to go clear out some gouls or raiders... He sneaks with me pretty good.. He's also great at distracting the bad guys giving me precious time to blast them with a .50 or a 10mm with Powerful.. I've seen him grab raiders & gouls by the leg and drag them down making them easy to kill. He even distracts Supermutants.. And he can find stuff as said above. AND they did such a great animation on this dog, mannerisms, etc. I've seen him extending a paw to Mama Murphy once lol.. Coolest is laying in the doghouse while waiting for you and he actually seems to have expressions! He's so cute! :P Yea, I like ol' DogMeat. I got him a house and bowl at Sanctuary for now...
  6. I sure was sad to see Skyscape Discord go by the way of Sovngarde. . Well wishes to Rizalgar in his future endeavors. This new discord, Skrym, hopes to be similar to Skyscape. No Muss No Fuss. Little oversight. Loose rules (within reason)... ;) And some fun stuff, like video/screenshot spam channels. Off Topic Chat, etc. A dedicated Skyrim/SE section. With Skyrim (+SE) mod, CK, texturing, scripting, screenshots channels. Hope to see you guys all there. c0AX599
  7. Don't wanna seem like a as$, but it's got to be a versioning problem. Too many people are using it all with NO problem. I would get rid of any an all SKSE and reinstall it manually, meticulously following the instructions. And then i would reinstall all mods that use it. You might've not updated one or two mods that need to be updated each time skse is. Do you use SSE Engine Hotfixes for instance? Racemenu and all related files must be updated.. Among others..
  8. How is it not working? What does it do, or not do?
  9. I don't read all the books. I do open them all just to see if it might bump me up a skill level. Some I do read, depending on my playing mood that day, and I usually enjoy the ones I do read. Like the one about the young lockpicking student, who the Master thinks spends way too much time studying the locks. And the end has a delightful turn of events. :> Those are the kind i do enjoy reading. And I keep a few in my inventory that seem interesting to me, and plan on reading them. Also, this play through at least, I have been collecting all books I come across even though it can be a bit of a pain. But the player house I'm using has alot of bookshelves, and I wanted to fill them up. I've done it! And since I'm still in the habit, I got a cabinet full of books too! One of these days I'd like to try to sort some of these books to see how many of the full sets i've got. But I'm afraid that will be a major undertaking..
  10. Geez, my internet is going offline intermittently, making me look like a noob double poster.. :| Wish we could delete our own posts. hrhr. ;)
  11. Naked Giants?!?! o_O  I kinda like the idea about female Giants. I often wondered why there were none. Thanks for the replies. I guess i'll just ignore those side quests when they come up. Might try that mod too.. Edit: Oh, I just saw your post IsharaMeradin. Thanks, i was wondering if there was some way i could just make them stop giving me those quests. Except for the one you mentioned of course. Not exactly sure how to do that, but i'll poke around and see what i can figure out.
  12. You mean stuff like this?? I just noticed the floor tile leaves a shadow on the ground too... Um, I had installed a Castle type house mod near here just to check it out, and that was when I first noticed the lamp and a floor tile with a tree stump on it at that time. I thought it was from that mod. I uninstalled the mod, and only later noticed the items were still up in the air albeit a little different.. And yes, this is basically right above Bleak Falls Basin. TBH, I've just continued playing and didn't give it a second thought until I saw this post. It's a minor annoyance for me. Not sure what your's looks like. Sorry, I know that wasn't much help. I only got about <80 mods installed, and i wouldn't think it could be any of those.. I guess we'll see if anyone else has some ideas..
  13. I don't like killing giants, and mammoths. They don't bother anyone, unless you make 'em mad, and then they're kinda humorous to run around with them chasing you. :D But sometimes when I go ask the Jarl or Steward or a bartender in a town if they got any work, this is occasionally the task. I guess this is a radiant quest? Will this keep on coming up on occasion?? Until all the Giants are dead.. Is there a mod or anyway to stop these certain quests? I have no problem with most given quests, such as go to Cave X and kill the Bandit Chief, Vampire, etc. whatever it may be, I just don't like killing the giants. So, I've been hesitant to ask the Jarls/Bartenders if they got any "work". I'm already a lvl 55 SpellSword, so I can easily kill a giant, but would prefer not. If there's no getting around it, i will just go with the flow.. I was just curious. Thx, c0AX599
  14. I edited my screenshots in GIMP. I got paint.net installed too.. I just wanna learn more about gimp, so that was my choice. ;) I didn't edit all of them, just the ones I thought looked a little too dark. I don't think that would be considered "misrepresenting" your mod's look. It's probably gonna look a slight bit different to different users anyway, depending on their graphics setup and or mods/enb's they're using. One more thing, for the outdoor shots, I usually did the wait thing, till it was afternoon and brighter outdoors, and also that there was no snowstorms, overcast weather etc...
  15. Well, in his first parts of the tutorial, you're only building the interior. It's the 3rd part where he places the exterior. If you've gotten that far, and then linked the door as you say, then you can go see it in Riverwood. The way you're using coc is wrong. "coc" takes you to a interior cell. So the correct way would be "coc playerhouse". Now it might not be "playerhouse", it would be whatever you've named the interior of your mod. In his tut it's "playerhouse". Hmm, I just tested "coc riverwood" in the game, and that does work. Learn something new everyday. But to go to a specific exterior location, use "coe" instead. I went in game just now, and tested coe 4,-13. That takes you to where he placed the house in the tutorial. How did I find those coordinates? I use this mod to get the exterior coordinates, which helped me in quickly getting to the location i wanted when making my own playerhouse. Where In Oblivion Am I? Not exactly sure what you mean by that. You did get the "exterior" of the house placed near Riverwood right? You do not need to "upload" anything (to Nexus) at this point, and if you mean getting the exterior placed, he did cover that in Tut #3. If you got it placed, and use the "coc riverwood" command, it puts you at the other side of Riverwood. You need to go through the town to the other end, and the house should be up on a little bluff near there. Also, the "test.esp, is the name he used for the tutorials sake. You could name that whatever you want, and you do not need to do anything with it at this point. Hope this might help a little bit, I'm confused by your wordings a little. But it's all good, only way to learn is ask. And keep following tutorials. Darkfox127's are among the best. Also there some text tutorials, and info that would help you alot. How to make a House Mod by M7 This tutorial is alot different from the one you watched on youtube. It's basically how to build a house from total scratch. I wouldn't use it right now since it's a bit different. But it does have some info that might help you understand some things. And of course there are other tutorials on the Creation Kit out there. I kinda hate posting links because i don't want to confuse you from the tutorial you're using now. But this one might help you along. Bethesda Tutorial World Hookup Good luck, and hopefully you'll get some more replies. I can help to the degree that I can help.
  16. Mighty Morthal by MightyNINE Dude, love the mod, however I wish you had enabled comments, 'cause alot of comments can be positive. Like Mine. I see there's a new updated version. I will go ahead and uninstall the old one, and install the new one. But I wanted to mention, I had no issues with the first rls. The npc's all looked the same way they did in the Video, in my game. I have Apachii hair (all).. And don't have any mods that would affect the faces, except Bijin NPC's (AIO 2019).. And I don't think that would affect your NPC's? NPC's you added looked just like the vid for me. No issue. The first couple times i talked to the NPC's they had no sale dialogue.. But after talking to all of them, the dialog was there. Everything else, is good. Thanks again for an excellent mod adding good, needed things to this town, and the game in general. I have a reason to go to Morthal now on occasion! Hopefully, some will see this, check it out, and comment. c0ax599 Edit: Ok, I did go back in game and check and what I found was some neck seams. Guess I missed that. I kinda prefer the .bsa's. But, I'll install the new one and see what happens.
  17. Yea, I shoulda mentioned, I still "mine" ore like a fiend if i'm traversing the countryside, since I'm out there anyway. I got tons of Gems. :D
  18. This really really helped me. It took me awhile to "find" this tut, but eventually i did. At that time I had no hope of releasing my mod. This works. Skyrim Creation Kit Tutorial: Editing Exterior Navmesh correctly I've only got one mod so far out there. And my outdoor navmesh was totally hosed. I deleted some vanilla navmeshes, AND my house was covering 2 cells. Not good. 2 cells can be done, but I'm never doing it again.. ;) I had to use SSEEdit (thanks to help from those guys on the xedit discord too!) to restore my deleted navmeshes. And I had to select every piece of my house, and move it into one cell. Then I followed this tutorial to the T. As a result, I have a working exterior navmesh and a released mod. I had to watch that tutorial vid a few times, and follow it while doing it the final time (watching, pausing, doing, repeat). But it works! Good luck. c0AX
  19. It looks like a clothing issue? But it's hard to tell. A little explanation might help.
  20. I hate to say this, but if you're wanting to kinda speed the game up, and not have to go scavenging for all that stuff.... Get the codes and use player.additem <code> <#>. Some might consider that cheating. And it is. But for me, it's a single player game, and the game takes long enough imho. I try not to use that alot, but for ingots and such, I just don't have the time all the time to go scavenging for all that. I've not used that usually on nails, and things for building the hearthfire homes cause they can be easily bought.. But I do do it for ingots for smithing... Me waits for the backlash! ;)
  21. Or, you can just deal with it.. lol.. I find that gotdarn mudcrab and kill his a$$!! The times I had a Dragon on me, I either kill it, or I went in my playerhouse, went about my biz, stashing, crafting etc. and eventually he left.. I know that not the answer you wanted. Sorry mate.
  22. What they said!! I am using a homebuilt desktop, that's actually kinda old.. But lemme share my specs to give you a idea. I built this machine in 2012. OS: Microsoft Windows 10 Pro - (10.0.18362) (installed in 2016) (Home edition is fine) CPU: AMD Phenom II X6 1100T Processor (x64) at 3300MHz (6 Core) RAM: 4464/16357.7MB (27.29%) (i got 16gb but 8 is fine)(also due to age my RAM is DDR3 - upg in 2017) GFX: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti (4 GB DDR5) (upg in 2017). I get around 60FPS most of the time, of course there's occasional dips here and there. But it's pretty darn playable. c0AX599 Oh yea, btw, running Skyrim SE, and i'm also only running about 75 mods, and nothing too heavy... Only one "graphics mod" - Blended Roads, to make the roads look better.
  23. I'm down with ya JimmyRJump! I still use NMM too cause i like it's abilities, plus the hands on approach i can do with the mods actually being in the data folder. But,it's kinda like politics.. lol. I mentioned that on discord, and got jumped on all kinds of ways... According to some, all newbies should use Vortex "cause it" easier for newbs... I happen to disagree. I also use LOOT, and that's about it.. On topic: My Advice to new Skyrim SE gamers wanting to use mods, would be, start slow and go easy. Install mods one at a time at first, and see how it affects your game. Don't start out installing a buncha quest adding mods and such. Just add maybe a simple playerhouse mod, maybe one follower if you want, Like was said, always check the "requirements" for each mod and the files it installs. Install some other mods that are for the interface etc. SkyUI, SkyHud.. SKSE is a must imho. (needed for SkyUI). Then as time goes on, add maybe some of Bijin mods to change npc's etc. Immersive Armors to give you some more armors and to make the vanilla ones better.. Stuff like that at first... The first post in this thread gave real good advice imho. c0AX599
