Glow placement

I have done a few retexture mods up until now, some using glow maps which work fine. However when I add a glow map to the circlets and giants I get nothing when testing in-game.

 

I have noticed that some nifs have the _sk file 3rd down in the texture list in block details where the _g used to be with fallout, when there havn't been _sk I have gotten away with applying the _g and carrying on.

 

I have followed the same procedure with the 2 models i mentioned but nothing. Help me?

Check out meshes\weapons\volendrung for an example of how a lightingshaderproperty should be configured for glow. Probably best to copy/paste that block, but you don't need the controllers, unless you'd like to keep the pulsing effect. You'll probably need to adjust the emissive color to suit your needs.

Thanks i'll try that out, it turns out the glow was there it was only really visible in dark areas. I havn't tried copying and pasting block with a pulsating effect though or any other effect for that matter and could make that work really well if I can apply to some of the mods I have in mind.
