silentom90
So, I'm fairly new to the CK, but I've tinkered with it a little bit to learn the basics, and watch a few tutorial videos. The question I have pertains to making a vanilla interior cell into a player home... Is it as simple as dropping in a Workshop? Or is there other things that would need to be edited, too? Appreciate any help. :)
ZerasCETA
I'll leave it to someone else to correct me if I'm wrong because I haven't technically done it, but yes, I think it is that simple. Allowing workshop use in a new interior cell should make it a new player home. I can't think of any other requirements the game puts on one since interior cell homes can't be attacked, don't have settlers, and don't need water, food, beds, or defense. I'll have to give it a shot then. What I want to do is take a preexisting interior location (IE; Concord Speakeasy) and add a workshop to it, so that I can turn it into a player home. chucksteel
Your going to still have to give it a location (I think) and you'll run into issue with the existing floors because they don't have the "Workshop Stackable" keyword attached. So you'll have to disable many of them and replace them with once that work in Workshop mode.

Thanks for the info, I'll have to get cracking on it soon. :)

I have to wonder how closely you did watch them because I've personally watched one of the top 3 videos and it explains EXACTLY how to get the workshop part working.
