gromulos
try running Wrye in Admin just remember that unless it's NMM most other mod organizers don't play nice with WRYE, and neither does Xedit in some cases Edited March 19, 2017 by gromulos
denialbyfire
Ran it as an admin and got this with everything else still closed: https://gyazo.com/f56170f7747abadaba6e97332fd455fc
denialbyfire
Don't really get how a program can still tell me no and deny me permission to do something.
gromulos
looks like the plugins.txt may be set to read only, check it and make sure it's not
denialbyfire
the plugins.txt in where? and how would i do that exactly?
gromulos
since this is your computer, you "should" be able to just copy and paste this into explorer c:\\users\\scrublord\\appdata\\local\\fallout4\\ Once there find the plugins.txt file, right click it, choose properties and in there some where there should be a box that says "read only" make sure that box has NO checkmark, then try WRYE again, let me know
denialbyfire
Got the wrye bash to work and whatnot. Removed read only. And rebuilt the patch. Game is still crashing during every single load screen. Went into wrye bash and now one of my mods is green but not checked. And when I go to checkmark it I get this popping up.. again: https://gyazo.com/0cf5e9d60010ccc84a24633b07d1bee5 And I already made the plugins.txt no longer read only. gromulos
check it again, I suspect that it's been marked read only, again, not sure by what though if it has To be honest, you're the first person I've ever seen where the plugins.txt was made read only I'm going to include some links below that MAY or MAY NOT help you https://steamcommunity.com/app/377160/discussions/0/492379439689449749/ https://community.bethesda.net/thread/10179?tstart=0 http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/7865/? https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/4092075-nmm-06122-still-making-pluginstxt-read-only/ hope those help you fix it, if any of them do, PLEASE let me know in case someone else has this same issue As for your original issue, I am trying to get in touch with a friend who had this EXACT same issue and who also FIXED it, so I will let you know what I find out EDIT: OK I talked to my friend who was having the same problem and this is what he said was causing it, below "was sky ui and mcm menus and fnis and anims and the issue is one mod mcm menu and a few bad anims" So basically your problem may be from SKYui and MCM not being able to handle animations correctly OR from Fnis not accessing the animation mods correctly. I do know that he said he removed some mods because some of the animations in them were NOT present, so IE a broken mod Edited March 20, 2017 by gromulos
denialbyfire
So. I did all those things. None of them worked. But I made a new game save. So I am going to test if it works now.
