GowiHasti Posted February 4, 2012 Author Share Posted February 4, 2012 A good friend and I worked on it for a few days and I finally got it to work. What was wrong was a very STRANGE error. He advised me to install the Red Camo texture because he KNEW it worked. I took his advice and it worked. So, I was curious to see what happened exactly. Since the Red Camo has the textures for all the gaming consoles I tried deleteing them 1 by 1. When I delete them all but xbox it still works. When I delete Xbox it doesn't work no matter if I have ALL the rest of the consoles folders. I think they put something together wrong in my GOTY version and even though its on PC it points to Xbox for some reason (but olny with the Pipboy as far as I know; I have custom textures & meshes of all kinds that work perfectly). To test this I tried switching my textures with the Red Camo's and see what happened and it WORKED! What are the odds of THAT? Have you EVER heard of anything like that? It said that it requires a FOSE Beta v1 or higher, I have the v1.2 version and that I must have Archive Invalidation Invalidated active. Ok so I have all those active so I download and activate with FOMM then start F3. I pull up my pipboy and there it is, all retro and dirty. Satisfied, I take a few steps then BAM! I'm hit with a warning saying that this mod requires FOSE Beta v1 or higher and that I should not save. I go to thired person and my lower arm where my pipboy would be is missing leaving a floating hand and the Pipboy 2500 is glued to my hand. I uninstall the mod, then I unistall FOSE then reinstall FOSE then Pipboy 2500 and the same thing happened. I can have other pipboy mods implace but not this one and I'm not good enough to dig through files and code to fix this without some guidence. Oh, and nobody on the mods comments would help or make suggestions. Please help, very cool mod, but can not have.
