Yeah, its called the Dirty Pipboy by Jellyjoker and no it doesn't use FOSE which I've come to the conclusion is the problem. For example I tried useing the CASM mod by Cipscis and it needs FOSE to run. The moment I started the game I got a warning saying that it won't work because FOSE isn't installed. I went back and checked and it was, so I uninstalled the v1_2 and put in the v1_1 and the same happened. So it may be something with my computer or the game.

Simply put... :wallbash:

Where do you have FOSE installed? Is it in the Fallout 3 folder? I seem to remember reading it had to be installed in it to work.

I have it in the F3 GOTY folder but not in the .exe. I dug into it and it has a fose_loader application, theres and extract option but it just makes a copy of the entire file, that may be usefull but I don't know where to put it. I also tried running it and it said it has to be in the same folder as fallout.exe. I looked in that and I don't see any way to put it in (not like I'd want to mess around in there unless I know what I'm doing). Edited by NucaCola

I use a few mods that use FOSE. I have it installed in exactly the same folder as fallout.exe (I also have the GOTY version) and they work. So I'm fairly certain thats what your problem is.

YAY, I figured it out! The Pipboy 2500 mod works and so does CASM! I get a over weight message every time I exit the pipboy which gets annoying fast, I'll have to figure that one out. But my game still freezes when I try to level up from 24 to 25 and I got the unofficial F3 patch for it and it still won't stop freezing.

If its one thing, its another... :wallbash:

Hmm, not sure whats causing that. I hope I've been of some help and I hope someone who know a lot more about your current problem can help you now.

Sometimes it takes a while and a lot of experimenting, but I hope thigns work out for you.
