Dragun9500
I am making my load order and suddenly between some group of mods, LOOT stopped detecting any mods in my load order. I am using MO2 and I uninstalled and did fresh installs of MO2 and LOOT. But the issue still continues. I can use FO4Edit and Merge Plugins without any issues. And yes, I do launch all programs through MO2. Any guesses as to what is causing this?
tomsite
If you edit the Loot Executable Settings in MO2 check that the "Start In" Parameter is empty. I had the same issue. If empty select some directory as "Start In" Parameter and save the settings. Start Loot, which will either not start at all or will be empty. Edit the settings again and clear the "Start In" Parameter, save, close, close MO2, start MO2, start Loot and hopefully it should work then. But you also know that MO2 has Loot build in? I know that the full interface is much nicer to work with, but if you switch to the the plugins Tab and select Sort, it actually does run Loot. I did as you said and it still will not pick up any plugins. I am aware that MO has its own Loot built into it, but I also know it is not as powerful or as detailed as the actual Loot program. I just tried to use the sort button in the plugins tab and it didn't move any ESPs or ESMs around. And because I activated a bunch of mods at once there are ESMs in the middle of the load order. So it clearly didn't work because they were not moved.
dark47
Yeah, what's with Loot anyway? Everyone says to be sure to use it, so I do. Most people also say that it's best to make sure your scrap mods (Spring Cleaning or Scrap Everything, etc.) load last, yet when I run my list of mods through Loot, it always puts those mods any dam where it sees fit. Who do I listen to? Loot's load order seems to be just a "best suggestion" it seems. BOSS used to rule - why can't Loot do the same?
