DragonReborn
I know the book of Dwemer Aminucoli gives u the spell of summon sphere centurion but: Since getting the book is a quest for Telvanni does the book only show up after accepting the quest or can you get it even if ur not in Telvanni? And is it a book/spell worth getting?
Peregrine
Yes, you can get it even if you're not Telvani. My character found it just fine that way. As for it's usefulness, no idea. Haven't played a summoning mage to check.
DragonReborn
Thanks, since i do specialize in summoning, i think im gonna go get it. By the way, since it is possible to get the armor off of a summoned golden saint, is it possible to get dwemer armor off of the summoned centurions? Emperor_Ike
No, no dwemer things drop armor. They're machines, after all, not people wearing things. It would be interesting if you could fashion armor from centurion plating, tho.... :shifty:
cmac
Most of the Dwemer armour is actually, as told in Chronicles of Nchuleft, scraps of plating off old Dwemer golems that has been smashed into crude armour. This does not necessarily apply to all Dwemer armour- just relating a fact.
ohGr
well, ive been using the summon centurion spell alot recently...before my brother deleted morrowind because it mysteriously crashed every 30 seconds (yes...i attempted playing it 20 times), but umm...before this happenned, i used the spell alot, it was infact my favorite, there is one thing that puzzles me though, and this must have been a bug on me, or i screwed up, i heard you can get your own private centurion from the tellvanni, i recall reading it in a IGN faq, the most 56k hateful faqs in the world...go to hell IGN <_<
DragonReborn
yeah, the telvanni stronhold quest is how u are told about the book. I read that once you get the book for the quest, centurion guards are added to ur telvanni stronghold. Anywway, thanks for the helpful info, i specialize in summoning, so after i heard that it was possible to summon centurions i thought i should just make sure it was worth getting before i get it, also i needed to make sure that it was even possible to get if i was not telvanni. So thanks for answering my questions. Also, even though they dont drop armor do they drop anything else, like scrap metal?
cmac
Yes, Dwemer Sphere, Steam, and Spider Centurions all drop scrap metal.
DragonReborn
I meant do the centurions that u summon yourself have anything on them.
cmac
They all, including the summoned type, have a random number of scrap metal, usually 1-2. There is a chance there wil not be any. But, there no scarcity of scrap metal in the game, so I don't think that should be an issue.
