80sReco
What happens when your save counter reaches 9999 on the file? Does it simply roleover or does a severe glitch of some sort happen? If so how can I fix it?
fefnir3284
well i dont know if anything happens but I have 5 rotating save files so Ill reach 9999 before anyone else will, but I know how to fix this just in case. All you have to do is go into 'my documents' --> and find 'my games' which should continue and youll see your save folders. Just right click and rename them. just change the number, like 6968 to 0001, or some other unused low number. do this with several of your save files then delete any file (or renumber them) with a higher number and when you start saving again youll go to the next highest number. I did this already ;)

So all I have to do is save them then label them as 0001, 0002 etc etc ?

socksftw
if you go 'save <savename>' once, so you have one without numbers, you can then save normally without any. for example, if i went 'save GAME', i would have a save game called GAME. If I then save over that using the normal save methods, it will still be called GAME.
dlcooper
Hi, I downloaded a couple of savegames that were over 10000. Since then all my savegames are over the 10000 mark. My last savegame was 11649. Doug
