myrmaad
Question for the staff - if a modder had made it quite clear in their readme that their mod was not to be redistributed, and it was subsequently downloaded by a Nexus member and reuploaded to Steam Workshop, would I be correct in assuming that, on proof being found, the banhammer would be applied to their arse? Until I'm specifically told otherwise, Ginny, (and I don't see that happening) you're darn right their heads will roll.
Ganon2020
Well, my idea in post #32 would not only help to prevent people from uploading your mod and claiming it as their own, but it would also maximize its visibility. More people would be able to find it easier and read up on what it does. Not to mention, it would also divert some more traffic to The Nexus. :whistling:But you're right, they might not allow that. ... Edit: That being said, if I release any of my personal mods, I'll probably upload to both places. Those who have sworn off the Workshop will find it here, and those who are too daft to find this place () will find it on the workshop. Win-win. eltucu
Although SSAO is possible with enb mods and so is some form of hdr god rays, not true godrays the fake hdr kind.Yep, bunch of games have those sadly. And compensate for total lack of volumetric lighting with some cheap translucent sprites in windows (see Jensen's apartment in Deus Ex HR for example, BF3 has those too) Edited February 3, 2012 by eltucu

We can only moderate for actions on THIS site...not other sites. Sure, I'd like to thump the guy on the head that would do something like that but the fact is, we CANNOT prove a member here is the same as a member elsewhere unless there was cooperation between the staff at both sites as well as several other factors...planets aligning and all that. Just imagine if I created a ginnyfizz on another site, setup the same avatar, tag line, posted in a similar tone, etc. and then did something in an attempt to get Nexus moderators to ban you for something that happened at another site. There are many things that can happen but we generally try to stick to the rule of "don't bring your dirty laundry from another site to here"...which has kept us out of trouble and being played. There can always be exceptions but that is the general rule we stick with. LHammonds
rxmonste
I gotta say that the new dialogue system looks weird... and slightly confusing. O.o hopefully it is easier to manage then the old way. EDIT: They didn't mention anything on the .lip file maker?the creation kit released and it CAN generate lip files
