Ok, if all the races in morrowind were to form armies of their own who do you think would win?

You forget one thing: The Telvanni are enchanters. The Telvanni could enchant walls with fire resistance (dont ask me how...). Then how would the Imperials win? Stone can break and shatter. Thick wood can dent, and thats about it. And with any form of fire resistance, well, there nigh unbreakable.

And they can be grown anywhere. You would have quite an advantage if in a battle a tower started to grow in the middle of the battlefield. Or grown right through enemy ranks.

Every considered they would trap themselves inside the plants? The plants arent designed to serve as fortresses... They are real death traps... There is no way out. By ground you run into the enemy lines and by air you will get shot by archers. The old dunmer strongholds are even worse. No high defence walls, mostly only one entrance in and out. The roofs are defendable with archers tho.

The Telvanni Plants are grown in any way shape or form. Most probably modifyable too.

And the Dunmer Strongholds (except for one, forgot its name) are buil on an elevated platform, with only broad and open stairs as the way up.

And the imperials probably have huge catapault things and we know that the dunmer dont because we have played morrowind, right?

Ermm... It's easy enough to build a catapult. The Dunmer probably dont have need of one, so they dont have one...

so how are the dunmer going to wreck the imperial forts?

the imperial forts in morrowind have thiner walls then the ones in cyrodiil.

They are going to wreck Imperial forts by...

BUILDING CATAPULTS. Re-read my post. It says, by quote: "It's easy enough to build a catapult"

And how would you know that walls are thinner on Vvardenfell than they are in Cyrodil? You havent seen Cyrodil...

you dont need to wreck the walls.... ever heard of a clever lil device known as seige tower? you can roll an armored building frame up to the walls and let lose hell on the fort or walled city(Cyridiil) or fortress, i could see a line of shalk shell clad seige towers rolling up to Cyridiil, disgruntled Dunmer showting "DIE FETCHERS!" and "N'WHA!", and possibly being slaughterd... or the ones doing the slaghtering.

Argonian: Not to good for conquring, but if it is a war of the races you don't need to conqure only survive, there marshes and quick witted fighting style would keep them alive for a long time if not through the whole fight.

Imperials: Very roman type army, strong, at one time. That as when there were at war all teh time, they've had peace and the fighting is gone to scrap. They are having internal problems, the SURRONDED by every other province. I don't think imperials would last long and a war, maybe once but not anylonger.

Dunmer: Have a very defenciable area, much like argonians. The dwemer ruins, Dumner fortresses, Telvanni mages, Vampires, Daedra, Necterine(oh sorry Nerevarine) THye have lots of home team advatages plus, the teleporation of mages, the diversity of the cultures there, the harsh enviorment they've had to live in. All add up to toughen them to the point that they may not win, but they do damage, and they'd survive if they didn't try to conqure Tameril.

Bosmer: Would die fast, Gaenor would do some damage but when he fell the whole bosmer emipre would crumble, even wiht the primo archers they won't last long agains mages or legionars.

Altmer: The SummerSet Isles are likely good defence and the High elves are good mages. Like the Dunmer they'd do damge in a war, and might even make it through if they're smart.

Nords: Great warriors, no doubt there, but very seperated and (if you nord people out here don't mind my saying) headstrung, brash, and stupid. They'd do a lot of damgae to other armies buit they'd not last long in a prolonged war.

Khajit: good assasins, could make an army fall in a night. If they worked together wiht another nation they'd win. But alone Beyond weaking the officers and royalty of the enamy they could do very little.

Redguards: I admit, I'm byast here, but redguards start (in Morrowind) very strong, they are GREAT warriors and have a resonably population, I think if they treid they could, if planed rihgt, make a campign and take over most of Tameral, exept the defendable places, e.g. Vvardenfel, Summer Set Isles, Black Marshes.

Orcs: They've no nation they're scadered and would be crushed the moment they tried anything. 1 orc can do damage to a few warriors but a few orcs and do much damage to an army.

Brenton: Good mages but not war mages like Dunmer, They would be have useful if allied with another nation, supplying potiosn and healers. BUt Alone I don't think they last long agains any 1 of the other races.

Those are my thoughts on each race. I Beleive alone Reguard would hvae the best chance but if and 2 or 3 races alied they could crush all comitition.
