If there were a war of the races

...and the goths were a mainly peaceful people too. The Nords and Dunmer were both raised, bred, and live on war and battle. I really don't think the Roman's, or Imperials, would have a chance.

Mainly peaceful? Only a small minority were peacefull the rest were just crazy barbarian killing machines! :halloween:

The Goth's were farmers before they attacked Rome. Pushed to an extreme, any group of people can become a good fighting force.

yea i agree with pack rat this is getting a lil off-topic, now if some one were to start a war of the creatures thread that would be interesting but for now lets just agree to disagree that we all have our own bias on which race would win out over the other and which race would fall in to servetude, and finaly lets all reilize that they all have their own strength and weaknesses which would probably make a "war of the races" end in a stale mate.

I almost invariably play as a Nord and I have not voted for the Nords to win. I voted Dunmer (see earlier post) and yet have never played a Dunmer character in any of my games. So whether we have bias in favour of the race we usually play in the game, it shouldn't blind us to the realities of what war is about. Leaving out the question of alliances 50% of the population is Dunmer, they have very powerful magic and the backstabbing qualities necessary to be good as both regular troops and guerillas. Were another race to get support from outside Morrowind it could change the situation but not otherwise. The Imperials have many positives but from information gained during your days in Morrowind, you learn that they are stretched and under threat of being recalled. They would no doubt defend their fortresses well but in the absence of reinforcements would untimately lose. No other race (ON ITS OWN) would stand a chance.

Same like me actually. Never played as imperial, always as Dunmer but still voted on the Imperials.

the dumer basically hate every race but thier own they always have things to say about the other races.

so I think the dunmer would be on thier own when the imperials have the orcs and nords
