I would go with Bosmer. They would shoot down the other armys before they even got within striking range. They would use their alchemical abilitys to create shields to deflect the magic of the other races. Actually thats just my personal favorite I am not sure who would win..

HELLO!? Anybody out there? Why do you think there are Imperial Legion forts all over everywhere? They're not just on Vvardenfell. The Imperials already have kicked the poo out of everybody else on Tamriel. It may not have been an all-out free-for-all between everybody, but all the other 'countries' already have been subjugated by the mighty Imperial Legions! Before the Legions, the Nords had a bit of an empire carved out of the continent, too, which included Vvardenfell Island. There is a story before and beyond Morrowind, peeps. Look into it.

Dunmeri *are* my fav race, because they can excel at anything, but they've already been conquered, too. Just remember by whom. B)

And, forgive my endless rantings, Magic has never been used as a large-scale weapon. By anybody. Altmeri included. They rely on Goblin foot soldiers to do what they want. That's right. No battalions of trained fireball-chuckers. No mass 'temporal flux you!' Grr. Read up on things before discussing topics like these, please. Grr. I'm done now. :D

this is like that what came first, the chicken or the egg question...no one really knows, dunmer are great all rounders, orcs are born to fight, breton are magic fanatics, nords are also good fighters, only more primitave than orcs, khajit have their way of stealth...like cats, redguard...i dont know what their good at, high elves are a more superior type of bretons...only weaker, and if i left any out...ill re-install OMF Battlegrounds and torture myself of trying to remember the only way of killing raven is using a special move.

oh yeah...imperials....their strong, slightly in magic, smart....their probably the best for domination...of course, nothing always goes right for them...so its a complete 50/50 each way.

The battle could also depend on the terrain. In jungle terrain, Bosmer would prosper with their bows. Khajiit would probably be equally at home there, as they could use the trees as natural battlegrounds. Orcs and Nords are probably compatible with most terrains, but are most used to mountains and snowy hills, respectively. Bretons and Altmer, considering that their magicka is not terrain-dependant, are fieresome warriors in many landscapes. Imperials are best suited to the infantry approach to battle- the Greek styled phalanx formation, and are probably best suited to flat or mild terrain. In their natural habitat of swampy wastes, Argonians are conditioned to fight there. In the Armorer's Tale (ingame book) the poor Argonian armorer prevails in Argonian tactics over the well trained and rich Imperial armorer. Akavir are good warriors with the katanas and wakizashis in hand to hand combat, but are not renowned magicians.

good point, the terrain can cause a dramatic effect, wether it snows, rains, thunders, sunny, cloudy, day, night, the chances are always mixed up.

i suppose, night time is where the khajit mercilessly slaughter everyone in the dark!, MUHAHAH

ahh nuts, i gotta get back to work

(4 more cars ^_^ )

If the war were tro take place in the Morrowind district; Dunmer by a landslide. They are already organized by specialties; the three great houses of Morrowind. At times of War, the houses could join together and squash any opponent. The Redoran and Telvanni landing decisive battlefield blows; squashing the oncoming and retreating armies with ease. The Hlaalu could easily sneak into opponent bases; act as sabotuers. Not to mention the Home-Field advantage. They know the land, not to mention Dunmer make up 50% of the population of morrowind.

If the war were to take place on any other province, the reaces of the land would win. In the Black marsh, massive armies would easily get lost and confused in the swamps. Armor and weapons would rust; Supply wagons would get stuck, possibly drown. Then the Argonians could easily lay ambush attacks.

So; it all depends on who is fighting where.

well some races dont use regualr metal for their wepons... look at the nords they use silver not steel or iorn, and dont always wear armor and when they do its often animal hide (bear or wolf almost exclusively), the khajid wouldnt do bad in Vvardenfell or Morrowind seeing as they are plentiful as slaves, and Nords used to own Vvardenfel and Morrowind (as well as most of Tamriel) so they could lay waste to the area with their far superior knolege of combat, and battle prowress... and elves arent known for being very durable... so i wouldnt exspect them to survuive another nord incursion.
