Mods won't work (tried everything basically)

Hi, hi!

Okay, I spent all night til morning to make them work. I think I've read every thread about this but still no luck.

If I could get some help, I'd appreciate it.

Only trying to use three mods. A hairstyle, a skin texture and eyebrows. Looks like everything is fine, but they just wouldn't show in the game.

If anyone could help, then thanks a lot.

Did the files merge with no errors?

If not, make sure your paths are set up correctly. "Mod Path:" Should point to the folder that holds all of the mods you downloaded. "Dragon Age Path:" should point to the DAI .exe (C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Dragon Age Inquisition\).

Are your settings turned to Ultra?

Something to keep in mind: Mods don't show up in the Black Emporium, but they will show up when you leave. You just have to put on the hair, eyebrows, and complexion that each mod replaces.

When all else fails you can always try uninstalling the game and reinstalling, and uninstalling the mod manager and reinstalling.

I'm reinstalling the game and the mode manager as you suggested, meanwhile I have a question:

My game in not installed on C, I have an external hard drive (E) which I have all my games on. Would it cause a problem? The mods folder and the mod manager are on E as well, in different folders.

Paths should be correct and merging the mods was succesful, there weren't any problems. But to be honest I did everything after a video tutorial and later on I realized that the video was actually outdated. Meaning I created a Merge folder but the mod manager also created its own, so I deleted the Merge folder.

I set mesh option on Ultra, and I don't have BE dlc and this moment. Tried if the mods would show up in cutscenes but they don't unfortunately.

And my game is patched to version 12, I checked.
