liquidsnke
So recently i had to do a system restore on my computer which for some reason effected my fallout causing it to have some frame stuttering which still maintaining 60 fps. I've been trying for two days already and just can't figure it out. Any help would be appreciated.
Zeppelin1996
The issue could be with faulty graphics drivers, so you could try doing a clean driver installation. What GPU is in your system?
Zzyxzz
Try adaptive vsync, pre rendered frames 2 and borderless Window
UgTheViking
I was having similar stuttering and for the life of me nothing fixed it until I switched from Windows 10 back to 7 and shut off any Windows updates. Not sure what you're running but that worked for me.
AGreatWeight
If you've got apps running in the background, it's likely one or more of these are causing the issue (stuff like anti-malware/anti-virus software, and Steam or Nvidia overlay stuff are known to cause this issue sometimes)Any apps that aren't essential to the running of your o.s. and game could be the culprit. As you had to restore, it's highly likely that this is the cause of the issue/stutter.Also, make sure that your drivers are installed fine/up-to-date. dark47
There's a stutter? Show me. Sorry, but it looks pretty smooth to me. You guys and your brand new PC's! He, he
liquidsnke
the specs on the pc were in the beginning of the video but it's got an I5, 1070, and 16g of ram. after a lot of trial and error and searching a ton of forum responses i found out the issue was because of Malware bytes and it's self protection mode. Thank you friends for your help was much appreciated!
dark47
Yup, as AGreatWeight mentioned, anything running in the background can mess up Fallout4. I even disable my network adapter when I play. I have 8 GB system RAM and a little GTX 660 with a whopping 2 GB VRAM. I better make sure nothing elso is trying to use any of that when I want to play Fallout 4. Hell, I 'd give anything for Fallout to run as good on my PC as it does in your video. I meant no harm earlier - sorry if I offended you.
liquidsnke
lol no worries buddy i took no offense to your comment it's not an issue with performance for sure i can run the witcher 3 while playing league of legends without an issue as far as i can see it's just a clash between fallout and malware bytes for some odd reason
