minngarm
I've decided I want to try my hand at retexturing and was wondering what programs people use to do such on here.

jet4571
I use Paint Shop Pro for quick and easy(easier UI) or Photoshop for more complicated.
Perraine
Paint.net for it's simpler and easier UI and it's native support for .dds files, plus it's easy layer handling and extremely robust memory handling and the all important virtually unlimited "undo" function.Paint Shop Pro for it's more advanced painting/retouching tools, important for really fine and detailed retexturing.Gimp for it's normal mapping plugin and it's ease of handling of Alpha Masks. Rennn
I use paint.NET for converting. It's really, really simple to use, and free. I use Gimp 2.0 for the actual texturing, since it's both free and powerful.
