Game Freeze at Level Up

Played about 30 hours and suddenly at level up I select my skills and a perk press DONE and freeze.

 

Nothing to do but hard reset.

 

using an older set of saves after reinstalling FO3 GOTY after a corruption issue.

 

Mod list is this (No FOOK never had it as this seems to cause this problem a lot)

Anyone know of any fixes which do not involve starting agan?

You can try moving Readius above the 20th Century esps. I'd also suggest installing Wrye Flash or Bash to create a merged Bash Patch (not to mention FOMM and BOSS if you're not already using them).

 

It sometimes takes a while before mod conflicts arise.

using fomm and boss and this is how bos positioned them will try moving readius when i have time to restart my computer and do a crash recovery.

 

 

dont use Wrye or bash.

Hmm, BOSS puts mine before the 20th Century esps. The Bash patch combines all but the test container esps together, saving quite a few mod slots. Altogether, at this point, Bash has merged 17 of my esps into one. Not really necessary unless you start to push the mod limit though (I think that's somewhere between 150 and 200 but differentt people get different results.)

 

Readius is something of an odd bird, when I first installed it it would cause a freeze on the Load screen when I tried to select Load Save Game instead of Continue but after a few days that glitch went away. Try disabling Readius just before Level Up and see if that makes a difference.
