ladyvoldything
I'm trying to dip my toes into modding for the very very first time. I found a tutorial on changing NPC equipment without the toolset, so I tried to extract an .erf file from "Witcher2DAO", so I could put Ser Cauthrien in one of the mod's armors. Trouble is, when I tried to export... anything, the little popup that normally gives you a list of files to choose from... was empty. As if there was nothing in the mod at all. It's really weird. I tried using "Export All", but the editor log said "IndexError: list index out of range." Help? Is there something I'm doing wrong?
sapphim
You're not doing anything wrong. When creating a .dazip mod, the toolset will always create the same few .erfs regardless of whether there are any files to put in them, so frequently one or more of the .erfs in a mod are empty. The files installed by a .dazip will be located in AddIns\[mod ID]\core\data, AddIns\[mod ID]\module\data, and in packages\core\data. Where the individual files you're looking for are located depends on how mod author had them set up when they created the mod.
