kritesj
Greetings I am working with the SPatioWall set. I want to add the SPatioGate01, however in the display it is set resting on the ground and not standing up. When I place the door into creation kit, it is face-down on the ground. I can rotate it all day long, however it is always horizontal and never vertical. How do I change the horizontal and vertical settings, do I can place it correctly into creation kit? For example Stockadegate is preset to vertical standing, while SPatioGate is tits up and pissing me off. Here is a picture of the issue, I need to figure out how to change the orientation of the gate with the floor. It needs to be standing not flat on the ground. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/Images/654655/? Thanks Edited March 31, 2017 by kritesj
Di0nysys
Hit w on the kb, then reorient it. You could also mess around with y or x values to rotate it (varies acc to how beth setup it's pivot).
kritesj
Thanks, I understand how to rotate the object once it is in the render window. However the orientation is off. When it is oriented on the floor is is always on that plane. You can move it with X,Y, and Z; however, that does not change it's orientation with the floor, it will still be flat and not standing. Or am I misunderstanding what you are saying? W in the render window is a gizmo to rotate the object. I need to change it's origin anchor, as it is a horizontal anchor with the floor and not a vertical one. See how the door is in the picture? That is from the preview, it is laying on the floor and it should be standing. Edited March 31, 2017 by kritesj
agerweb
Either hold the x or c key down then left mouse button and drag mouse. Depending on the original orientation one or other of these keys will upright your gate. I think it's probably the x key in this case.
kritesj
Thanks, i was not able to figure out a way to reset the original orientation of the door with the floor, for easy implementation. I can rotate it into position once placed into the view cell, however it takes a lot more time. I did not see the X and C key listed in the Bethesda videos, I most likely missed them on Wiki. They will help in the future I am sure.
