Need delete post fuction for individual mod forums

Is there any plans to provide the ability to delete your own posts when you comment under a specific mod? double and triple posts due to submit button lag is bad enough, but quintuple posting is just downright embarassing. If nothing else prevent people from posting more than once within like, 3 seconds.

No "delete" capability is planned. (Too many trolls would abuse it.) But everyone understands that multi-posts happen to all of us. Just use [Edit] to replace the duplicate(s) with "Sry, double-post." or something. :thumbsup:

Ya, I did the edit thing. 5 duplicates still takes up a lot of real estate. Time delay thing isn't possible? Ah well, was just a thought.

If you report it - just click the report button and say something like 'accidental multiple posts' as the reason. A moderator will be along to clean up for you. :thumbsup:

There is a time delay thing.. But it only seems to work when you're NOT accidentally triple posting.

Nice one ... I did not know you could do that....saves me trying to be witty on the doubles and so on of posts :)
