Abusive
So here's the gist of it, I'm still seeing my character's hair when using helmets and it's horrid looking. Mods in question: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=5152Just using 1 hair from this mod, a simple hair and hairline mesh replace over the vanilla should not be causing this correct? This could be a problem, but I removed it and it's still doing it so maybe it's not the case.http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=4866 Madcat says it swaps the slot that helmets use, that's why you need the esp. I removed this however, and it still affects my hair. The funny thing is it was affecting helmets that weren't even supposed to be changed... like the imperial helmets or the scaled helmet. Only some of them work correctly and some don't. I tried using the actual esp from the hair with all the hair options, same result. Could it be that a mod even removed is changing the hair flags on helmets? Those are the only 2 mods recently installed that would affect this. The rest were just texture replacers etc. Anyone with info please feel free to share. If screenshots are needed to address this problem, I will post them. Abusive
Is no one else coming across this issue in their installation? I'm tearing out my hair trying to figure it out...
redxavier
From the pictures, the open helmets aren't set up to replace the hair when worn and whilst they may have been modelled to fit ok with vanilla hair, they can't quite cope with the much bigger hairdos that are in the Cool Sims pack. At least, this is what it sounds like. This is an ESP edit, and you'll need to change the 'body parts' under armature record for the new helmets; needs to be Head, Crown, Underkin (and possibly face too). You'll be bald underneath the helmet though, which I think may suck if you want a long ponytail to show. The other thing is to modify the helmets in blender (or try in Nifskope) and scale up the helmets very slightly so that they clip less with the new hair.
