pixelninja
Hi btyop, Despite your frustration, great job! At least you're getting there...am about to start trying the same thing and I'm loading boundsword01.nif and boundswordencheffects.nif into nifskope. So far only boundswordencheffects.nif makes sense to me and it looks like boundsword01.nif only references the daedric sword...I mean I don't see any geometry or info when loading into nifskope. I am just guessing as this is my first time fiddling with nifskope...am I on the right track here? Do I even have to edit boundsword01.nif or just boundswordencheffects.nif? Grantiz
I also had the small bluish flame on my bound bow and found that even if I changed the gradshockrune.dds with gimp it still showed blue. So instead I got another gradient from the skyrim textures.bsa with a color close enough and it worked. No more small blue flame.

XCrimsonXXHazeX
Sorry I haven't replied at all, I got bored with Skyrim after 220+ hours and never checked my messages or e-mail associated with this account. I really don't know how I got all the blue flames to disappear. I opened every little string and changed every single color to the one I wanted, and I never took the time to isolate which colors actually changed the flames. Grantiz
My next question is when I use my newly colored bound bow there is an white orb in my right hand I can't figure out how to get rid of. any thoughts? http://i245.photobucket.com/albums/gg69/Grantiz84/Untitled.png
XCrimsonXXHazeX
Well, that never happened to me, but if its even there when your bow is supposed to be there, just grab another default bound bow and color it again. If the orb is still there, you either colored a wrong string in the mesh, or its a texture problem. Hope this helps.
Grantiz
I figured it out it was one of the enchantments on the bow. everything works great now! Next is to figure out how to animate inventory weapons. http://i245.photobucket.com/albums/gg69/Grantiz84/ScreenShot14.png
