Bound Texture Locations?

The only thing I don't get is what controls the color of the flames.

 

The color of the flames is controlled by 2 different parts of the mesh. FlamesMesh02 is controlled by the Emmisive and Specular color settings, while FlamesMesh01 is animated with an effects texture and a gradient texture which is the intended effect color. You can see these texture links in this pic.

You're saying that you want a green bound bow?

 

Did we ever figure out how to do this? Trying to do something similar, but not successfully. I see wierd purple-blue shiny blobs in nifscope, which I am assuming is some sort of normal map. How can I make the model show up like it looks in game?

 

Also, when I look at the emissive colors in nifskope, i am seeing values that have equal red, green, blue. What exactly does that mean? Wouldn't that be a greyscale color?
