seweryn
Hey,So I bought skyrim yesterday and thing that shock me the most are the conversations. They are from third person view. I somehow do not like it. I was wondering would it be possible to change skyrim conversation to first person view. Like in oblivion when you saw only the face of the of the person you are talking too. I found it strange since skyrim have some nice textures but I can't see them in conversations because how conversation in skyrim are. Is there work around it ? To change conversation to first person like in oblivion ? I would be most obliged for the answer. Thanks, Sew
Vohcaz
The conversations are 1st person if you play in 1st person. Just go into 1st person mode when you want to talk to someone.

If you remember conversation in oblivion they were only involving the heads I like the idea not quite but in skyrim it is worse since the distance is larger and I do not like it.In oblivion you could say you do not like how baurus, emperor looked like because you could see their faces, now in skyrim you can hardly see faces compared to oblivion style. That is what I meant. TheElderInfinity
^ I hate to ask, but do you have a pirated copy? If not, what mods do you have installed? This is only an issue for you, the camera doesn't normally go into third person when you start a conversation.

That is not supposed to happen, what version are you on, or what mods?
seweryn
I have a legal copy, registered a steam account for that.I am not saying that I go to third person. I am saying is there a way to show the conversation the way that I could see the heads during the conversation as we have in oblivion ? That what I am saying. Sunnie
I think i understand what you are asking for. You want dialog to zoom in really close to the NPCs face, like it was in Oblivion/FO3/NewVegas. Theres nothing that can/will do that in Skyrim (yet). The biggest problem with doing this in Skyrim is that unlike the previously noted games, Skyrim does not stop processing/running while you talk with people. While you are talking with people, things are still happening and you can be attacked while conversing, forcing you to back out of the dialog and defend yourself. Giving you a larger view radius of the area while conversing gives you a better chance to see whats going on around you while you are indisposed. I'm not sure if you know what first person is.First person means you see from your characters eyes. It does not mean zoomed in.If you are in first person, and initiate a conversation, you still see it out of your characters eyes, but it will not zoom in. If you mean you want it to zoom in on their face only (which i guess you do), then it will probably be able to be done when the CK comes out (tuesday).
