Corrupted downloads from the Nexus

Hey, recently most of the files I download from the Nexus site I am unable to install. The mod manager attempts to install the mod and crashes at some point. Telling me that a problem occurred during install

 

For instance: Fusion City Rising - Quest Mod Plus // A problem occurred during install:
Could not extract files! Message: File is corrupted. Crc check has failed.
The mod was not installed. // Install //

 

So I manually download the mod try to open the archive and its loaded with CRC errors.

 

 

What gives? I've checked my NIC drivers and there are no updates, I'm using windows 10. I've tried different browsers with the same result and also tried a download manager. All large archive files I download from the Nexus have CRC errors, enough to halt the install of a mod..

 

Any ideas?

You might try downloading something else besides a mod as a test. Something large'ish...maybe a large video (download, not stream), a large program (not a game from Steam, but something like Blender, GIMP, or Open Office as examples). See if issues arise with those.

 

You might also try running some diskchecking utilities/tools on your hard drive(s).

 

Same for checking for some utilities checking your router and/or modem and/or connection for issues.

 

Another, simpler, step might be to reinstall NMM also.

Well, I did some testing. Same computer - different internet provider, still had three CRC errors. I had to buy a premium membership so I could use premium servers to download from in the US.
