Hello community,

I recently started modifying textures and this invisibility thing is giving me troubles.

I've seen the site has two textures that make armor invisible (Ragged Mask and another).

Tried to inspect them, but I simply cannot figure out how they were modified.

I'm using Photoshop, so if you know how I can do this with Photoshop it would be great, if not I accept any other method.

Now, my item is not an armor item, it's actually a shield (Grass Crest) and I found the 3 textures that change it's appearance but however I modify them it simply cannot make it invisible.

Thank You

I would also like to know how to do this, and for the same exact reasons, i use the grass crest shield on my back just for the stamina boost and would like to make him invisible, for aesthetic effects

Done a bit of digging around, and I think I've found an explanation.

Some items do not have models, just textures (ex: Ragged Mask).

Those can be easily be made invisible by messing with the alpha layer.

The other items witch have models, need model editing? (i guess)

And if so, can iGP11 override models?

Has anyone done this?

I've done some in the past week or so. Some items can be hidden , others not at all. I'm still much of a noob at this. So far it seems cloaks and scabbards can be played with easily by simply deleting section of the dds file. I've turned the legion chest into a scarf like this,or trimmed the old sage's blindfold. Just select a section with a free select tool, hit delete and save. ( I use gimp2 , so export)

So far it seems to work on helms, chest pieces (not all sections of chests), some scabbards, cloaks.. There's more but there's so many files I can't try everything :P

Weapons are different. I've successfully changed the color of Valorheart but I've been trying to mess with ringed paired UGS and Gael's greatsword but so far nothing I do seems to be affecting it in game.
